The Historic Aircraft Collection’s Duxford-based Hurricane P3700 (G-HURI) was built in 1942 by the Canadian Car Foundry and delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943. Rebuilt in the 1980’s from various original Hurricane parts from all over Canada, it was given the identity of 72036 as that aircraft was the source of the airframe used in the rebuild. Historic Aircraft Collection acquired the Hurricane in 2002 and after an 18 month extensive programme of repairs and maintenance the Hurricane reappeared in 2004 as Z5140 coded HA-C of No 126 Sqdn. This paint scheme was previously worn by a Gloster-built Hurricane IIB, flown with 126 Squadron during the siege of Malta. The following year she became the first Hurricane to fly over Malta since the Second World War.
In 2015 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and with the support of the Polish Embassy G-HURI was repainted in RAF markings of Hurricane P3700. This Mk1 Hurricane of No 303 (Polish) Sqdn as abandoned by Sgt Kazimierz Wunsche over Poynings, Kent on 9th September 1940 after sustaining damage from a Bf 109 during combat over Beachy Head.

This Crusader is from the Superheats of VF-202. Home based at NAS Dallas, this is VF-202's commanding officer's aircraft. It was photographed while visiting NAS Miramar in August 1975.
The squadron was a member of Carrier Air Wing Reserve 20 (CVWR) and carries the air wing's tail code of AF.
The spread wings of the Crested Caracara provide a subframe for the second Caracara at the top of a cell tower they have frequented over the past week or so. Before they move on, I will take as many pictures as possible. By the way, I’m not really sure if this counts as “subframing.”
The Anna Karoline was a Jekt cargo ship based at Hopen in Lofoten. Jekts were single masted ships that for centuries transported Stockfish from the Lofoten Islands to Bergen. The trade was very significant and Bergen grew to become the capital city and centre for International trade as part of the Hanseatic League.
Anna Karoline was one of the last of her kind, built in the 19th Century she was eventually taken out of service in 1959 and is now the centrepiece of a museum in Bodø.
Melting snow and ice mixed with fresh moss and grasses at base of highly textured lichen covered tree trunk.
The base was originally built via contract awarded December 5, 1933; most of the buildings were complete by late 1934. Captain Howard B. Nurse, Construction Quartermaster, supervised the design and construction. He departed from traditional base design by rendering the buildings in the Spanish Eclectic (Spanish Revival) style then popular in California. Churrigueresque elements adorn the more important buildings. Reinforced concrete walls were covered in stucco to appear similar to earlier California missions; mission tile roofs topped the buildings. Recessed porches, cantilevered balconies, polychrome tile bands and wrought iron grillework complement the designs.

So, i did a bunch more sneaky stuff, to make this happen, to the point , i even had to delete the C button shortcut, to stop it glitching out and cloning everything multiple times, till it crashed 😅
Now you can see its purpose, also just ignore the green tiles that are leaching on the cabin 😧😧

I hope its apparent now, all the bits that led to this point from the other ships, certain parts made for some of the earlier ships, get recycled or upcycled and man, have i enjoyed this style and the original artists designs so much 😁😁
I endeavour to make better looking engines, as i continue to progress and as i look at more reference materials, cause its a confusing topic, they all look extremely different, also art can be vague in the more detailed areas and dark spots, so its hard to imagine what to fill in the blanks with and stay true to the rest of the design and avoid creating a mashup.
Ill get another angle or two and maybe try for a ship link up or two, if i can and then move on to the next one 😁

Based on the sign, this building has been at least 3 businesses. Found in a named crossroads by the railroad tracks, wonder if it had a siding? These little places always fascinate me, there were so many mom and pop shops in the area where I was born that are long gone or something else today. Based on some digging on the web, this may be Sid Proctor's General Store at Westry Siding. 1915 was the apparent founding date.
