Mais de duas mil pessoas na 2.ª Corrida da Base Aérea da Ota
No âmbito do 76.º aniversário do Centro de Formação Militar e Técnica da Força Aérea, na Ota, a Unidade abriu as portas a uma manhã desportiva, no dia 22 de maio, que contemplou uma corrida de 10 km e uma caminhada de 5 km.
A 2.ª Corrida da Base Aérea da Ota contou com a presença do Chefe do Estado-Maior da Força Aérea, General Manuel Teixeira Rolo, que não só participou na prova como também deu o tiro da partida para que mais de duas mil pessoas colorissem a pista da Unidade

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (Jan. 17, 2012) -The Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Houston (SSN 713) arrived at her new homeport, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Tuesday, Jan. 17, after completing a change of homeport from Commander, Submarine Squadron 15 in Apra Harbor, Guam. Houston is the forth ship to be named after the Texas city and is capable of conducting anti-surface and anti-submarine operations along with guided missile strike operations using conventional Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles. Weston Bike Nights 17 July 2014
This weekly Thursday meet during the summer is based at the sea front in the sea side resort of Weston Super Mare, North Somerset, UK.
It is organised by the Riders Branch of the British legion, all bike donate £1 to enter and all proceeds go the charity The Poppy Appeal.
Images can be obtained for a donation of £5 per image, the full image will then be e-mailed to you.
Either send donation via paypal stating the images wanted to bikenightphotos@btinternet.com or send a e-mail to bikenightphotos@btinternet.com with your request and a paypal invoice will be e-mailed to you allowing you to make a secure donation via debit/credit card.
All proceeds will go to the charity being supported by the event The Poppy Appeal
