Determined not to miss out on the snow this time I went out last night to do some long exposures in the snow.
This is The Street in Old Basing, the barns doors have been shot a few times by me, I love the old lock on them. Other than the cars and velux wondows, I don't think this scene has changed much in the last few hundred years.
With 8 second exposures and the ambient light from nearby Basingstoke it was pretty easy to get some interesting shots, the hardest bit was keeping the snow and sleet from the lens during the shot.

Tiene que ser un viejo PK-13 de metal, un tubo sencillo sin transmisión de diafragma es más barato y tiene menor diámetro y habría que adaptarlo, este no necesita nada. Encaja sin transformación aunque solo sirve en modos manual y apertura y pierde el aufoco, que por otra parte no nos servirá de mucho en macro, aunque hay que darle alguna vuelta a la idea para podre hacer apilado de foco con los modelos de cámara o aplicaciones tipo DigiCamControl que sí lo permiten.
I bought this shirt for my daughter after my Breast Cancer treatment was over.
The concept came from Kelly Rooney, a Breast Cancer patient, who used the slogan "Save 2nd Base" as her team name for a Breast Cancer walk. After Kelly's death from Breast Cancer, her sister and a friend began selling these shirts to raise money for a charitable foundation created in Kelly's memory.

The trek starts from NayaPul to Annapurna Base Camp and back to Pokhara through Phedi. Mount Annapurna is a 10th highest peak in the world with the height of 8,091m. The trek to the base camp reaches the highest altitude of 4,130m/13,550ft. The walk through icy trail around Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp is quite slippery so you will have to be careful. The walk through the glacial ridges and view of the huge mountain peak right in front of you will give you an awesome experience that you are not likely to forget ever.

The Naval Air Station on Ford Island was decommissioned in the 1990s. The island is used primarily for naval housing.
The United States took possession of Pearl Harbor in 1887; however, it was only used as coaling station until 1905 when the coral reef at the entrance was fully dredged. By 1940, Pearl Harbor was completely developed with a naval air station on Ford Island, a naval shipyard, a submarine base, ammunition supply, and a fuel tank farm. (An Army Air Corps base sits at the entrance of Pearl Harbor, now Hickam Air Force Base).
Pearl Harbor was attacked on the morning of December 7, 1941 by naval forces of the Empire of Japan. Battleship Row that sits off of Ford Island suffered the worst damage with the USS Arizona exploding and the USS Oklahoma capsizing.
Almost the entire Naval Base is a National Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places #66000940.
With a little careful adjustment the focusing is buttery-smooth! A great feature of using an acme screw rather than a traditional rack and pinion is that focus remains securely locked wherever you leave it. No additional knobs to tighten, just focus with the big knob and leave it - it will NOT move. There isn't even any backlash! Of course the drawer slides play a significant role in both the great extent and great stability of the focus movement. They do add some weight, but they sure work well.
March Field Air Museum
Based on Boeing 707 airframe, the KC-135 was the first totally jet powered, in-flight refueling aircraft. The C-135 models have served in a number of roles: Air Force One, Electronic Warfare aircraft, Weather, Reconnaissance, Airborne Command Post and special purpose aircraft.
The KC-135 is carries fuel in six wing and four fuselage tanks. All but 1,000 gallons can be pumped via the extendable boom at the rear of the aircraft into the waiting receivers. Aircraft requiring fuel line-up by following the rows of lights on the underside of the KC-135. The boom operator, lying prone in the rear fuselage flies the boom into the receiving aircraft's fuel receptacle.
Eighty troops or 25 tons of cargo can also be carried in the main fuselage. Seventeen KC- 135's were equipped as " Looking Glass" command aircraft for the Strategic Air Command. These aircraft acted as a mobile version of SAC headquarters at Offutt AFB. If ground stations were destroyed the “Looking Glass” could direct bombers and missiles for retaliatory strikes. Airborne command post aircraft could also act as emergency tankers. Until 1985, at least one Looking Glass aircraft was airborne at all times.
Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard KC-135's were retrofitted with Pratt and Whitney TF-33 turbofan engines in the early 1980's and were designated "E" models. The active duty KC-135's were retrofitted with CFM International CFM-56 turbofans beginning in the mid 80's and were designated "R" models.
The museum's KC-135A, serial number 55-3130, christened "Old Grandad", was the thirteenth KC-135 manufactured and was delivered to the Air Force in August 1957. During her 35-year career she refueled thousands of combat aircraft including many in Southeast Asia and the Persian Gulf. Retired as the oldest KC-135 in the fleet, “Old Grandad” arrived from Carswell AFB, TX, in December 1992. It had a total of 14,107.5 flight hours. This aircraft is on loan from the NMUSAF

The Memorial Park was created to memorialize service members who participated in conflicts around the world. According to the Air Combat Command History Office, the planes at the Park are painted gray to avoid being related to any specific unit. They are there to memorialize all Airmen who gave their lives defending the country.
The aircraft in the photograph was ordered in 1961 and built by Republic Aviation with the tail number 61-188. In this 2017 photograph, the aircraft is marked with the tail number 61-217. The aircraft manufactured with the tail number 61-217 was shot down over North Vietnam on September 16, 1965.
