Base Jumper - jumping off the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls Idaho. This four lane truss arch span is 486 feet above the Snake River. It was exciting to see these men and women jump from the middle of the bridge and float down to the river bank below. Some time you wondered if the parachute would open, as it took longer for some (1/2 way down) than others for the chute to open.

This is the interior of the Hoth Rebel base. On the left side 2-1B medical droid is tending to Luke in a bacta tank. In the middle Princess Leia, General Riekkan, a female technician, and K3-P0 are running things in the command center. And Han Solo and a rebel pilot (you can't see him) are walking down a corridor.

ARLINGTON, VA. (Jan. 21, 2015) – In the weeks leading up to NASCAR’s biggest race, the DAYTONA 500, the USO joins forces with three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year Kyle Larson and Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III and treats troops and their families to a moment-filled handshake tour at MacDill Air Force Base on Jan. 20. Filled with three interactive unit visits and a USO meet & greet, troops and their families came out in droves for a chance to see, visit with and talk one-on-one with the stars.

Despite one of the teams being based in the capital, there was still a decent selection of visiting coaches on 25th February 2024, when Wembley Stadium hosted its first showpiece final of the season, with Liverpool taking on Chelsea in the EFL Cup (Carabao Cup). There was also a change in traffic management, routing coaches for the Liverpool allocated Green Parking Area via the un-photo friendly Hannah Close. However, one such vehicle pictured transporting supporters to the game was AP16 ALP, a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M coach new to Hughes (Jones Holidays), Llandudno in March 2016.

This is the base that'll sit on a 1x2 stand; each space will fit a single drawer, around two feet deep, two feet wide, and around 9" tall. The top of the base is the exact size of a crib mattress. The front slat is cherry -- I figured that since I'll be attaching the crib front to that slat, it should be a good hardwood that resists the sheer force I'm sure our kid will exert against it. :)
(Don't worry that it's warped -- that's just our basement floor, which is the furthest thing from level you've ever seen.)
ok, im adding this description to each pic, jus cause its easier..some modifications will be made jus a bit. But, this is again another base edit. Its to make whatever you want on the character you put your 'note' too.
What i want to see on the note for your description:
-hair-style, color, layered, anythign you can think of.
-eyes, color, kekkai genkai, anything you can think of.
-clothes-this one is crucial, i swear to God, if you put jus a normal 'red shirt, blue jeans, skirt, ya-da-ya-da. your note, will be deleted. If there isnt any of that, i know you didnt read the description..in which case, you give me permission to yell at you, cause you would be the moron idiot. and i have no time for you.
-accessories-BE CREATIVE! THINK THINK THINK! i want a challenge!
Anyways, make your bio/description good.
so, yea, first come, first serve, and have fun thinking. ^_^"

Blytheville Air Force Base aka Eaker Air Force Base.
I think it is lost on most Americans that the first time a B-52 was used in actually live combat was in Vietnam and it was the only time a B-52 was lost to enemy fire.
Fifteen B-52s were lost during the 1972 Linebacker II Christmas bombings and three of those B-52s originated from the 97th Bombardment Wing assigned to Blytheville Air Force Base; B 52G 58-0201 "Charcoal 1" went down on the 18th, B 52G 58-0198 "Olive 1" and B 52G 58-0169 "Tan 3" were shot down on the 21st. Airmen from the 97th Bombardment Wing lost their lives and their photos appear on the lonely memorial at their abandoned base in Blytheville; Lt Col Keith R Heggen was in "Olive1", (now buried at Arlington Nat'l Cemetery) Lt Col Donald L Rissi, 1st LT Robert J Thomas and Msgt Walter L Ferguson were in "Charcoal 1" Major Bobby A Kirby, Capt Randall J Craddock, Capt George B Lockhart, Capt Ronald D Perry and 1st Lt Charles E Darr were in "Tan 3". These three 97th BW aircraft were stationed and flown out of Anderson AFB, Guam, as part of the 72nd Strategic Wing (Provisional).

Welcome to the projection room…
This summer, I was quite lucky. My friend Debra worked out at the marina restaurant and ended up serving two gentlemen who she heard talking about the old Glasgow Air Force Base. They wanted to renovate it and were especially interesting in revamping several of the abandoned buildings and homes. They needed a photographer for before and after shots. Debra immediately gave me their number and in the end, five of us ended up getting to explore the old movie theatre and hospital, including my friend Brittany who is starting to get into photography. It was a fantastic and spooky experience and we loved every moment. And Brittany's husband Todd held himself in check enough to only jump out and scare us once :) Unfortunately it seems that the plans for renovating this place fell through, but at least my friends and I got our chance to explore it!
Home of the Adventurous is probably the perfect slogan for this place. When I begin to write something down about this place I honestly don't know where to begin. So I guess I should start by saying that almost everything you will be seeing in these photos is abandoned. This is a former cold war air force base that was basically left to rot by the government after less than 10 years of use. There are a few families that live in the condos still, but I would say 90 or more percent of these homes are empty. The schools are decaying, as is the hospital and all other buildings except those owned by Boeing. Boeing owns the runway and uses it for test purposes. And instead of moving their employees into the empty condos they set up manufactured homes for them.
The weather in Saint Marie is especially brutal, terribly hot dry summers and fierce awful winters. Saint Marie is like an island of condos and abandoned buildings in a great sea of prairie--nothing else is around it for miles and miles. It is true desolation. And when you drive the broken streets and see the condos with those big windows looking at you like empty eyes it is like you are in another world entirely. Then you see the signs set up by Boeing saying not to go any further and that essentially they are watching you--it's like something from a movie. I encourage you to look up other people's photos of Saint Marie and the things you will see will haunt you. Operating tables and beds left up in the hospital. Robes left hanging in the church. Everyone just walked away one day and this is what remains. If you are especially adventurous you can move here--the condos are a steal. A beautiful one fully furnished just sold for 30,000 dollars and there are others for much less than that.
Here are videos I took while exploring Saint Marie:
