This is Mr. Bart. One of my closest pals, he is also big time skateboard photographer. This is one of only a few photos i have of Bart wearing clothes. I have a library of Bart nudes, that would make anyone blush. when I find a pile of money I will be making a Bart nude coffee table book. I am 100% for real. Right now I have around 50 bart nudes. There is something about this guy naked that is amazing. I mean that in the most normal way I can.

Bart is the very handsome and cool cat of the Hummingbird Pub on Galiano Island. Why don't all pubs have cats?
The second part of our walk was from Mezna down into the Kamenice River and walking through the Edmunds Gorge. Half way along it is so steep that there is no track so you need to buy a ticket and take a boat for 960m. The boatman poles along the gorge and gives an interesting commentary in Czech (we only worked out tiny bits such as the Bart Simpson Rock!)

Bart Smith was one of the Veterans that was in our documentary "We Can't Forget Vietnam". The raw way he spoke about his time in Vietnam evoked deep emotions in everyone that was in the room with him. After his interview he asked his friend Bill Mahon to try to find his one true love, Lynn, whom he married and divorced 45 years earlier. Bart suffered from PTSD and neither he or Lynn were equipped at the time to deal with it when they first married in 1972. Bill was able to find Lynn. He sent her a copy of the documentary. After watching it she called Bart....and the rest is history. On Veteran's Day 2017 they were married, again. My heart is so full...I could not have imagined what would have come from such a humble project. Read more about their story here:

my first time. the wonderful folks at bart take the time to carpet the cars, which adds to the monorail/space-agey (c. 1974) feel of things. still, huzzah for public transit. can't believe i've gone my whole life without setting foot on bart.
