This is Bart my sister in law's dog. Quite loveable and cute but dumb as a brick but will give you doggie kisses all day.
I had just come in from taking insect photos in the garden, and used my zoom on Bart from across the room. He's in a favorite spot, the living room window. I need to take more photos of his sister, Lisa, but she's tricky to shoot.
Bart often plops down at my feet and playfully paws at my ankles. I often bend down to give him pats or I reach for the wand toy and play with him.

Il piccolo Bart ha smesso di soffrire!
ieri pomeriggio il veterinario mi ha telefonato, dicendomi che Bart non ce l'aveva fatta.
io e Francesca siamo andati a prendercelo, ce lo siamo portati a casa e adesso riposa sotto il melograno.
E io mi aggrappo a queste ultime immagini per ricordarmelo sempre coccolone e buono e per cancellare gli ultimi giorni di dolore, di bave alla bocca e di sangue e piscio...

Bart is in the window, and is watching my left hand crinkle a plastic bag. He had been captivated by an outdoor cat across the street.
Bart is in the kitchen window, and I'm waving a long stem of catnip around him. It grows wild at the farm, and I often bring some home. He eats the shredded leaves, then paws at the floor.
Bart is in a favorite spot, the kitchen window. I'm tapping a butter knife against the camera to get his attention.

Das Erdmännchen (Suricata suricatta), auch Surikate oder veraltet Scharrtier genannt, ist eine Säugetierart aus der Familie der Mangusten. Mit durchschnittlich 700 bis 750 g ist es eine der kleinsten Mangustenarten, es hat ein hellgraues Fell mit unauffälligen Querstreifen. Erdmännchen leben in trockenen Regionen im südlichen Afrika.

Bart is enjoying his favorite spot in the morning, a loveseat in the living room. It was a challenge to get him to open his eyes; I had to wave a small towel and make funny noises.
As usual, Bart interrupted my flower photography in the kitchen tonight. He misses me when I'm gone for much of the day, and needs his attention. I took my camera off the tripod, put the flash on, and switched the camera to my animal settings, then snapped a few photos. My 105mm macro lens is also good for portraits. Behind him is my new sequined backdrop, with rainbow stripes, also seen as bokeh in the rose photo that precedes this one.
Often when I pat Bart he'll soon plop onto the floor and roll around, wanting me to play with him. If I extend my hand toward him, though, he bats at it and lightly bites my fingers. I sometimes switch to using a wand toy at that point.
Bart has stopped responding to my kazoo and squeaker, so I turned on my electric toothbrush and held it against the camera, making an awful buzzing sound. I pulled it away when he looked at the lens, and quickly snapped a photo. He's perched on top of my bathroom cabinet, a favorite spot.
Bart is a charismatic and talkative cat. He's seen here in my living room window. He and his sister, Lisa, are four years old and were rescued from St. Croix via www.realcruzancats.org.
I was photographing flowers on my kitchen counter tonight when Bart had to make it about him. Behind him is a swatch of rose gold sequined fabric.

Bart turns invincible when he jumps up on the bathroom cabinet. He'll enjoy pats and purr for a few moments, but then nips at me. Sometimes he goes up there while I'm showering and meows. Then his sister, Lisa, comes in to investigate, and they end up playing and wrestling on the bathmat.

I've photographed this almost year ago, and been playing with it ever since. Yesterday I started to think it's time to let it go and put this on save here.

girls these days just don't know how to wear mini skirts! It's not just about crossing your legs. You also need to be aware that crossing one's legs decreases fabric surface for coverage-especially the outer and under thigh areas.
I am getting old? Nahhh, b.c I'm not against public celebration of one's legs, just not when it also exposes ur entire inner thigh to the point where it's distasteful.
