This is Bart my sister in law's dog. Quite loveable and cute but dumb as a brick but will give you doggie kisses all day.

Bart is in a favorite spot, the window in the kitchen. It gives him a good view of the bird feeder, and a high vantage point to monitor his surroundings. I'm tapping a knife on the lens hood to get his attention.

I was photographing some flowers on my countertop when Bart barged into the shot, as usual. He cannot be denied! I quickly changed my lens and settings and snapped off a few frames. The reflection of my LED ring light can be seen in his eye.

I had just come in from taking insect photos in the garden, and used my zoom on Bart from across the room. He's in a favorite spot, the living room window. I need to take more photos of his sister, Lisa, but she's tricky to shoot.

I'm standing at the bottom of the stairs and zooming in on Bart. He's sad that I have to leave for a little bit, but he's gotten many assurances that I'll be home soon.

:-(((

Bart is in the window, and is watching my left hand crinkle a plastic bag. He had been captivated by an outdoor cat across the street.

Visiting EMO [Europees Massagoed Overslagbedrijf], one of the largest transhipment terminals for coal and iron ore in the world.

Bart is in the kitchen window, and I'm waving a long stem of catnip around him. It grows wild at the farm, and I often bring some home. He eats the shredded leaves, then paws at the floor.

Another bark art reflection looking for faces on my day at the beach last week. Hope your weekend is going well and thanks for comments and faves!

Bart often plops down at my feet and playfully paws at my ankles. I often bend down to give him pats or I reach for the wand toy and play with him.

Bart is enjoying his favorite spot in the morning, a loveseat in the living room. It was a challenge to get him to open his eyes; I had to wave a small towel and make funny noises.

Often when I pat Bart he'll soon plop onto the floor and roll around, wanting me to play with him. If I extend my hand toward him, though, he bats at it and lightly bites my fingers. I sometimes switch to using a wand toy at that point.

I was photographing flowers on my kitchen counter tonight when Bart had to make it about him. Behind him is a swatch of rose gold sequined fabric.

Bart has stopped responding to my kazoo and squeaker, so I turned on my electric toothbrush and held it against the camera, making an awful buzzing sound. I pulled it away when he looked at the lens, and quickly snapped a photo. He's perched on top of my bathroom cabinet, a favorite spot.

Bart enjoys rolling around in the sun, like all cats. He paws at me if I try to step over him. He only tolerates brief tummy rubs, sadly.

Bart turns invincible when he jumps up on the bathroom cabinet. He'll enjoy pats and purr for a few moments, but then nips at me. Sometimes he goes up there while I'm showering and meows. Then his sister, Lisa, comes in to investigate, and they end up playing and wrestling on the bathmat.

A profile of Bart Simpson in Lego. Just in time for the May 1st celebration.

I've photographed this almost year ago, and been playing with it ever since. Yesterday I started to think it's time to let it go and put this on save here.

girls these days just don't know how to wear mini skirts! It's not just about crossing your legs. You also need to be aware that crossing one's legs decreases fabric surface for coverage-especially the outer and under thigh areas.

I am getting old? Nahhh, b.c I'm not against public celebration of one's legs, just not when it also exposes ur entire inner thigh to the point where it's distasteful.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station at SFO airport in San Francisco, California.

An interesting engineering and user interface problem. Imagine someone standing on the platform has been bumped and has fallen into the track area.

How do you help them quickly get out of the way of an oncoming train, without causing more problems as the crowd tries to help them out? Once you've designed the safety affordance, how do you make it easy to understand its purpose?
