Bart is feeling stimulated and has jumped up to the window nook to keep an eye on the kitchen. I soon will get his wand toy, to help him focus his energy.
I had just gotten home, and Bart was rolling around in a favorite spot, the kitchen window. I thought he might want a tummy rub, but he light clawed at me when I tried.
Bart is in a favorite spot, the window in the kitchen. It gives him a good view of the bird feeder, and a high vantage point to monitor his surroundings. I'm tapping a knife on the lens hood to get his attention.
I was trying to photograph a daisy while using a sequined backdrop when Bart said, "No, you'll photograph me, instead." He's very persistent!

Bart is in the kitchen window, and I'm waving a long stem of catnip around him. It grows wild at the farm, and I often bring some home. He eats the shredded leaves, then paws at the floor.
Bart often plops down at my feet and playfully paws at my ankles. I often bend down to give him pats or I reach for the wand toy and play with him.

Bart is enjoying his favorite spot in the morning, a loveseat in the living room. It was a challenge to get him to open his eyes; I had to wave a small towel and make funny noises.
Bart has stopped responding to my kazoo and squeaker, so I turned on my electric toothbrush and held it against the camera, making an awful buzzing sound. I pulled it away when he looked at the lens, and quickly snapped a photo. He's perched on top of my bathroom cabinet, a favorite spot.
Bart enjoys rolling around in the sun, like all cats. He paws at me if I try to step over him. He only tolerates brief tummy rubs, sadly.
I was photographing flowers on my kitchen counter tonight when Bart had to make it about him. Behind him is a swatch of rose gold sequined fabric.

Bart turns invincible when he jumps up on the bathroom cabinet. He'll enjoy pats and purr for a few moments, but then nips at me. Sometimes he goes up there while I'm showering and meows. Then his sister, Lisa, comes in to investigate, and they end up playing and wrestling on the bathmat.
Bart has just eaten some catnip and is waiting for pats. He turned four years old on April 1.
I really like the 40mm lens now. I've had it for a while, my experiences with it at first were frustrating. Magic moments were lost to blurriness. I didn't use it for months. With the flash, however, the lens is getting great detail, and it focuses quickly on the animals.
A profile of Bart Simpson in Lego. Just in time for the May 1st celebration.
I've photographed this almost year ago, and been playing with it ever since. Yesterday I started to think it's time to let it go and put this on save here.

girls these days just don't know how to wear mini skirts! It's not just about crossing your legs. You also need to be aware that crossing one's legs decreases fabric surface for coverage-especially the outer and under thigh areas.
I am getting old? Nahhh, b.c I'm not against public celebration of one's legs, just not when it also exposes ur entire inner thigh to the point where it's distasteful.
Today the wife and I took the kids to see Yo Gabba Gabba live in San Francisco. We decided to ride BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to avoid the traffic and parking. The kids had never ridden BART, so we figure it'd be a treat for them. Well, this is how Roman enjoyed his first BART ride.... LOL
Bart loves to roll around in the sun, like most cats. He's a goofy guy, with fun idiosyncrasies. When I walk by him, he often jumps in the air, twists around, and high-fives my leg. Then I praise him and give him good pats.
