A slightly better pic of Khris' Bart TIcket. Too bad bart doesn't accept artwork as currency, or we'd be set for life.

The second part of our walk was from Mezna down into the Kamenice River and walking through the Edmunds Gorge. Half way along it is so steep that there is no track so you need to buy a ticket and take a boat for 960m. The boatman poles along the gorge and gives an interesting commentary in Czech (we only worked out tiny bits such as the Bart Simpson Rock!)

Dancers in the BART tube

my first time. the wonderful folks at bart take the time to carpet the cars, which adds to the monorail/space-agey (c. 1974) feel of things. still, huzzah for public transit. can't believe i've gone my whole life without setting foot on bart.

On wednesday evening the 29th after an nice meal of asparagus and some delicious Prosecco i took this picture in Bart's diningroom. We allways come together in Barts house the evening before Queensday the day we start urban mining at 6 in the morning.

Captain Bartholomew Roberts. The plaque next to his statue reads "Black Bart was one of the most notorious pirates of his day. He was killed in 1722 off Cape Lopez, Gabon by Grapeshot Cannon fire which struck him in the neck."

I took apart an old Nokia 1630 phone for fun and while looking at the main circuit board I saw that the two biggest ics have been given names, BART and LISA!

I've never seen pylons at a stop like this, rather odd. Perhaps they're trying to guide the cars, line up the doors or something.
