St Barts is only about 100 years old. Be sure to go inside - the interior is beautifully designed and ornamented. In spite of its unmistakably coptic look, it's Episcopalian.
If you have trouble judging whether the architectural influences are eastern (octagonal drum, sloped pillasters, patterned exterior ornamentation) or western (cruciform footprint, romanesque arches), you're not alone - the style is referred to as 'Byzantine-Romanesque'.
