Bart was our first Pembroke Welsh Corgi. (Adopted as a rescue dog at the age of 6 months) After 12 years of dedicated service to our family, Bart crossed over the rainbow bridge on 4/15/02. He was a great dog.

Yes, it seems I enjoy drawing. And I'm sorry if you don't follow me for this sort of thing. However, I've drawn the Simpsons quite a bit and am a fan of them, but the thought to upload an attempt to Flickr never really crossed my mind. Until now! Here is the little bratty 10-year old himself, Bart Simpson, with an expression like he was 'caught in the act'. Whilst I did copy from an image it was drawn freehand, and I think I've done quite well. I suppose I should also say that Bart was created by Matt Groening, so this image isn't taken down for copyright infringement!
There was this odd woman on the BART platform. She turned toward me like she was really glad to see me, but then she obviously realized she didn't know me and turned away. A minute later she did the same thing to someone else who didn't even notice. It's like she kept expecting to run into somebody she knew. Then she got sort of agitated. There's all sorts of crazy people at the 19th St station but this lady was really normal looking, with a briefcase and a nice looking raincoat. I tried to get a picture of her but she must have walked around the corner while the camera was focusing or maybe something weird happened with the light because this is the picture that I got and she's obviously nowhere to be seen.

the Coliseum Bart Ramp Oakland CA Really not as desolate as it appears. Thousands of people use this ramp going to and from the Coliseum or Oracle Arena to catch a game or concert. After a Raider game it can become full end to end with no wiggle room which can actually be a scary experience. And there are always plenty of scalpers to greet you after departing the BART station.

I NEVER lock my bike at BART stations. If I ride to BART, I ALWAYS bring my bike on the train with me. This photo is why.
I have, over the years, sold countless replacement wheels, seat/seatposts, and bikes to victims of bike theft. A huge percentage of said theft takes place at BART stations. Tip Top is only 8 blocks away from MacArthur BART, so it's the station I use if I need to take a train after work. I see broken locks and bikes with missing parts there all the time.
Most above-ground (and many underground) stations have bike racks, with space for dozens of bikes. These racks have been nothing less than a buffet for bike thieves. The racks are secure and sturdy. To the uninformed cyclist, they appear very safe. Most learn the hard way how unsafe the racks truly are. I hear their stories firsthand, and it's usually heartbreaking.
This has been going on for years, and BART Police has finally admitted there is a problem. They are making an effort to inform cyclists who use the racks on how to effectively secure their bicycles.
