This is my very old messenger bag that was quite popular with San Francisco bike messengers in the late 80s. I bought this one from a bike shop on Stanyan Street in 1989 and it is still going strong.
This photo taken at a small shop in South Korea, and I saw the same cabbages in the same net bag in Costco 2 weeks ago.
This pretty wavy crochet bag is from one of the lovely free patterns available from Crochetville. (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62995&highlight=bag)
I've made it about twice the size that the pattern suggests so that I can use it to carry around some of my crochet projects.

This bead-embroidered bag was created around one of Lisa Peters Art’s gorgeous large cabochons/tiles that I've had in my collection for a while, and some lovely Swarovski crystals that complemented the colours depicted in the cab.
Beadembroidered directly onto genuine suede using bronze, wasabi green and ivory glass beads.
it took me about 4 1/2 days to complete, which is way too long, and am hoping that the next one will take about half the time… :-)

Well - OK it's more on the bag than in it! I've looked out all year for 'small mammals' - excluding cats and dogs of course as they have been given a category of their own. And apart from one small dead shrew, I've come up with nothing! We do have a family of hedgehogs close by - and rabbits too (they eat our bulbs every year we plant them). But I haven't caught sight of them.
And now it is December, and there's no chance at all. So it has to be my "Rabbit bag" - the tote bag I use for taking my spare batteries, cleaning kit and gloves etc when I'm out taking photographs! It does have a back side too (see the first comment field) and at least it is bright and colourful!

I'm not normally a "designer bag" person but this was a gift...it's size and long strap work out well for hands free shopping and I do like...I'm just not a fan of that classic Coach "C" design!

and I have been so inspired to make colorful goodies I can't help myself..
This bag is based on Lucy's pattern which can be found on her blog.. I used a mix of all of the acrylic yarns I had on hand..
This is the "full" configuration; includes the laptop, umbrella, camera, and beverage canteen; things I tend to leave at home (or in the car) on a normal day.

This is a really beautiful bag made out of pvc canvas. The canvas had been part of an art project in 2008/2009 by the artist Margot Olde Loohuis. The building on which the canvas was attached was about to be demolished and a new destination had to be found. MAAK: bureau voor hergebruik an institution that works with artists and recycling was asked to help in this matter. MAAK asked artist Marjolijn Kroon to design a bag for this project. The result is awesome and very sustainable.
