An absolutely fabulous pattern from The Happy Zombie - and it's free! It's a very small bag - better for lunch or gifts. I might try to make a larger one using the same pattern.
The fabrics are: Daydream by Cyndi Walker (main bag and pocket) and Amy Butler Full Moon Polka Dots in Lime (strap).
I made this bag for my third sister. It is very casual and able to put in lots of girl's things without any complain for no space at all. My bag is 100% hand stitched too.

The latest of my rainbow patchwork collection - another rainbow patchwork bag, this time on black corduroy.
WOW does the black make it pop!
I also made a few modifications to the pattern (just small ones mind you, little tweaks, trying to perfect it) and I think this time it's just about perfect.
Lined in an expensive cotton print with just the subtlest stripes and tiny little flower buds inside.
One big pocket for pens/scissors, and a pouchy-pocket for mobile phones... But I use mine to keep my thread spools in!
Yes, that's right - these bags make perfect project bags! Even half-sewn softies deserve to ride around in style :D

This is my very old messenger bag that was quite popular with San Francisco bike messengers in the late 80s. I bought this one from a bike shop on Stanyan Street in 1989 and it is still going strong.

This pretty wavy crochet bag is from one of the lovely free patterns available from Crochetville. (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62995&highlight=bag)
I've made it about twice the size that the pattern suggests so that I can use it to carry around some of my crochet projects.
* I designed this Sugar Bag with insuline dependant diabetics in mind. It has no less than ten (!) pockets inside, to carry along insuline pens, needles, bloodsugar measuring device, lancets and test strips, notebook and pen, tissues, etc.
But then again, you don’t need insuline dependant diabetes to enjoy a bag like this, with this many pockets...
The bag is made out of faux suede and faux leather. It gets its sturdiness from a 3mm thick felt layer between the outside and inside fabric.
* Ik heb deze Sugar Bag (Suiker Tas) ontworpen met insuline-afhankelijke suikerzieken in gedachten. De tas heeft niet minder dan tien (!) binnenzakken, om er insuline pennen, naalden, bloedsuiker meetapparaat, lancetjes en teststrips, notitieboekje en pen, tissues, etc. in mee te nemen.
Maar je hoeft natuurlijk geen insuline afhankelijke diabeet te zijn om van een tas als deze, met zoveel zakken, te genieten.
De tas is gemaakt uit namaak suède en namaak leer. Hij krijgt zijn stevigheid door een 3mm dikke laag vilt tussen de buitenste en de binnenste stof.
