Fossil Messenger bag with photo inserts as a DIY bag for my Fujifilm X setup. I can put Fuji Xpro-1 with 56 1.2, Fuji XE-1 with 23 1.4, Fuji 35 1.4 and Fuji 60 2.4. I can also put the Fuji EF-X20 and an Ipad Air. I tried so many bags but this I really fell in love with it.

This bag was made in central Ecuador from cabuya, a cactus fiber. Seen at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico

This bag encourages one to switch one's gas and electricity supplier, however, my supplier, along with several others, has gone into receivership and I am advised not to change at present. I think British Gas has taken over as the "Supplier of Last Resort".

Apparently I have caught the bag making bug. It's such a great way to use up more fabric. The navy blue was handed to me (same that I used on the hexagon heart bag), as well as the strap/lining fabric. The lace was all from thrift stores. The buttons are from the cotton blouses that I've been buying from thrift stores and cutting up. I still have lots of buttons to use up.

I absolutely love how the lace and buttons go together. It looks way fancier than it actually is.

To make this photo I went to an open lot near Talking Stick Resort. I used a tall table to create the levitating effect. I tried a variety of poses but this one looked the best and the most dramatic. It's not my favorite photo in my portfolio, but I learned a lot from the process about levitation photography.

This photo fits into my concentration because of the surreal effect, high contrast/clarity and desaturated editing, and the warm white balance. Emotion is portrayed with the bag over my head to show despair and gloominess.

My bag, as always full of candy.... Addicted to candy :P
