made from the Pink Chalk Studio Mail Bag pattern in vintage upholstery and Amy Butler fabrics - I love this pattern! The only modification I made was adding a magnetic snap, as I am notorious for spilling the entire contents of my bags on street corners.
Our flat door doesn’t have a number on it (though it has a brass bell puller, which I don’t think has worked for a very, very long time) so I decided to engage in a bit of geekery and make us a number. (It’s darker green than it looks!) I also may or may not have made myself a pair of earrings which look like this on a smaller scale…
We found this old Dr's bag at an antique store up north. We have seen them before,but they have ususlly been raided and are empty. We were pleasantly suprised when we opened this one and found it fully intact, right down to the crazy mirrored forehead strap on to look at you real good!
Two words: nested bags.
I put all my ingredients in their own sandwich-size ziplock, label them and toss them in a big freezer bag together. This makes throwing together a homemade pizza SUPER easy. You can either make the dough yourself (really, it's easy), or you can buy it (Trader Joe's makes a good, cheap one). Defrost the sauce, spread it on, and toss the ingredients on, still frozen. Pop in the oven and 20 minutes later you have dinner.
Some tips:
~When chopping peppers, onions, olives, etc for other meals, chop some extra and toss it in your pizza bag to keep it filled all the time.
~When freezing certain things, it helps a lot to lay them as flat as possible so that they freeze individually as much as possible instead of in one giant clump. It's not time-saving to have to defrost them, and not delicious to put a giant lump of olives on your pizza.
~Read Super Baby Food. Even if you don't have a baby. I learned a ton of nutrition from her and learned even more about freezing things in easy servings (nested bags and ice cube trays to name a few).
Celebrating Bungie's 20th anniversary this year, only 777 Bags of Swag were made. They were hand-packed by Bungie employees and feature a random assortment of items that have been a part of Bungie Studios for the past 20 years.

update 2010- This never happened obviously. After coming to an agreement with Lovelife, I bought the selvage denim and brought it to their studio... where it stayed for several months before I finally gave up on them.
I have a design for a new bag that I'd like to try sometime, but not enough time to do it on my own.
The grommets are fun, but the bag is a canvas for the knitter. Instead of grommets, you could add sequins, snaps or buttons. Once you have felted it, you can decide how you want to paint your canvas with the endless list of possible emblishments.
This bag would be a great first felting project. The bag is designed in a simple shape so that the knitter would not need to felt the bag to an exact size. If your bag felts too much or too little you may just need to use different D-rings to attach the strap.
Embellish your bag with grommets or whatever suits your fancy! Pattern available as a download (.pdf) for $3.
I made this bag with little pokets inside. Some other little bits to keep in the bag shall follow. Will be a gift for a good friend.
She loves to play in these. But don't worry, we put them out of reach after a brief session, for safety..
