We are building a pool in the backyard, so I put together a panorama before all the work begins. I am standing right where the pool will be.
View from the top of the slope down. Nothing has been planted yet in the pipes (working on that!) or the planter. They will be a combination of veggies, flowers, and cacti/succulents/agave/etc. I already have some ideas in mind. :)
This must be one of the fellows that has been munching on my corn crop. I spotted this buck grazing near my garden. When he saw me, he moved to the wooded area at the back of our yard, where another large buck was relaxing.

Our backyard lake is active with visitors from up north. This early,
I've already seen more species of ducks, more tricolored and green
herons and lots of egrets than last year. This should be a very
fruitful winter, bird photography wise. :)
