Taken a couple of years back. I like the simple lines. I gotta keep an eye out for more of these minimalist type images!
... watching the squirrel go down to pick up a morsel - then back up the tree finding a dandy spot to enjoy his feast.
This fox has been coming around my house for a while, usually we just catch a glimpse of it running through the back yard at dusk. Not this morning though, I spotted it as I stood stretching at our back sliding glass door. I dashed through the house and grabbed the camera, it didn't seem too concerned with me, I think it was trying to find somewhere to bury it's loot.

This little buck came through my backyard woods during last winters Christmas snow in Tennessee. I hope I get a better shot this year.
These guys were all tired out after chasing tennis balls, so they found a nice cool spot in the shade to kickback and relax. Then, they started eating the grass....

This was seen directly overhead when I photographed the sun dog a few days ago. Thanks to a smiliar image from Eric Hunt --- www.flickr.com/photos/ericinsf/4659066358/, I realize that this must also be another form of the sun dog-- but directly overhead rather than at the horizon...
It is not only the birds and bees who experience a quickening of the blood. The spring awakening is ours as well. Some of us, regularly as clockwork, find ourselves newly in love every May. Robin Magowan

This bunny's been in my fenced-in backyard for over two weeks now. Yesterday he came out around lunchtime and played just like a puppy, running around, climbing on things, hanging out with the doves. We have no idea how he got in, but we're enjoying his company these days. He hides when we come outside, but is comfortable as can be when he's alone with the birds. He's a very young bunny, growing slowly, but thriving.
