True story: At my grandpa's house, they have wild peacocks that basically live in everyone's backyards. There are two of them that are each missing a foot--this one is missing it's right foot.

Post script: I added adaptive lighting to this, which is why the dark got pushed to the edges.

Fawn in backyard in Annville, PA

Good Morning!

I got into a little bit of trouble last night.

I was helping prepare dinner when I noticed this little fawn and her mother wandering around my backyard. I ran and got my camera and went outside (out the front door and quietly around to the back corner). I was gone maybe ten minutes, but when I got back Sandi, my wife, was a little annoyed that I had abandoned her. Dinner was still wonderful.

I didn't get any great shots of the fawn with her mother, but I did get a few of each of them. More later.

Cheers,

Wade

Day 74 of 365

Today we had a golf tournament set up in our back yard. It was only one hole, but it sure was fun. There was registration and a scorecard to track the course record. I love seeing they boys' creativity at work. And they especially enjoy when the whole family participates.
