That is only a 1/3rd of my brothers backyard. With mature trees and lots of space for his kids to run around, it's like a camp ground.
Completed fire pit and planting area, outlined area (half circle) will be filled with gravel and seating, the fire pit will be lined in gravel and surrounded by rock. Planting area for wildflowers/cactus on the side and small boarder planting area around fire pit.
So, if you move your furniture and appliances outside, you can pretty much live in your backyard. Even if it is about 13 degrees!
Had this black bear visit our yard and destroyed bird feeders. Eventually the bear destroyed all four bird feeders. The bear continued to visit our yard. We are in communication with Washington Fish and Wildlife to monitor the bear and hoping it will not get habituated to our yards. Beautiful bear. Healthy and strong. Ripped part of the fence to get in.
This is the front yard dry river bed, which is the same colors (so, if the wall weren't there, they would actually connect). That's how big the pink muhly gets after 2 years :). The DG in this area (same spice color next to the dry creek bed, and blue color in the path) got very trampled during construction, so a new layer was put on at the end. It looks the same as it did 2 years ago!
