A juvenile Coopers Hawk made a stop in my CO backyard the other day. This photo was taken through the kitchen window of this very cooperative subject.

We found this odd rusted artifact under the groundcover plants in the back yard... decided it had artful potential. And yes, the garage really is painted that color. Came that way.
When the hostas are in bloom throughout my backyard, they appear as a parade of purple. However, my attempts to capture the sight proved frustratingly futile. I could never get them all in one frame properly. But nevertheless, I have loved the large clusters.
