This is a shot of my backyard pond that I put in a few years ago. This shot was taken at dusk. Most of the lighting is from to speedlights and the pond light. www.tryburn.zenfolio.com
Stoblist: I used two canon 580EX II flashes bounced off umbrellas. One was placed at the far left, directly facing the waterfall itself. The other was just to the left of the camera. The flashes were triggered with a ST-E2.
There is also a pond light which is below the waterfall and is a 250watt light.

A Dark-eyed Junco arrives at a plate of seeds, in a backyard in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.
Dark-eyed Juncos are primarily seed-eaters, with seeds of chickweed, buckwheat, lamb’s quarters, sorrel, and the like making up about 75% of their year-round diet. At feeders, they seem to prefer millet over sunflower seeds.
Backyard.
Now that winter has taken off its coat.
The backyard starts to come alive once again.
The flowers struggle to regain their former glorious stature.
The trees sing with glee,
as the birds fly around with delight,
The back yard is the place where most come in contact with the real world for the first time.
A place where the imagination can flourish with nothing,
but a stick or some rocks.
The backyard often looked at,
not fully appreciated.
Take time out and take in all the sights of your own (Backyard).

I didn't do the wash step correctly so the colors kind of sucked; but it looks nice in black and white!

We often see deer running through the the neighborhood at evening - but this is the first one that stayed still long enough for a quick snap
The goldfinches stop by several times a day to get a quick drink of water from the moat in the center of my backyard hummingbird feeder.
