Backsplash installation by Ceramictec Tile using Walker Zanger's Studio Moderne Regency Polished Mosaic in Green River Onyx

Glass tile minnow backsplash with an oil rubbed bronze switchplate.

I ended up taking off the whole GFI outlet, then pulled the GFI through the hole so everything would look 'finished'. The clear acrylic goes underneath the window, and ends at the right side of the countertop. Total cost for the plastic was around $24. I originally had the plexiglass held with clear Velcro Coins, but then I supplemented that with clear mirror holder tabs at the top. Very secure now.
