More fluent backend. The sticker helps with the shaping which it shouldn't, but well, this won't be the last try, I guess.
'She looks like the backend of a bus' is a term often used by men to describe women they don't find particularly attractive. However, if a man said that a woman looked like the backend a Hartlepool Dennis Dominator, then they’d have to be saying that she’s worse than ugly. ...As the backend of buses don’t come much uglier than this!
The Dennis Dominator in single deck form was a very unusual vehicle. Six of these unfortunate looking buses were purchased by Hartlepool in 1979, when the more trusted and better-looking ECW Bristol RE chassis was no longer available. It's hard to believe that East Lancs let such a monstrosity out of it factory gates, as it couldn't have been a good avert for their products. If East Lancs had extended the roofline over the engine compartment, so the rear sides of the body wrapped around the end of the bus, it would have looked a whole lot better.

Knowing about the moderate risk of severe storms on the eastern side of Colorado and the western side of Nebraska, I had planned out the day perfectly to intercept the back side of the cells about 4pm Mountain time.
Now into Yuma County Colorado, this was when all the action began. Tornado warning was in effect just a few miles north of Hwy 34 and I had a good sight on the backend of this developing severe storm.
From Fort Morgan Colorado via Hwy 34/6 back to Nebraska was my route back behind the developing cells. To honestly say... I wasn't disappointed. The open cloudscapes of Colorado are a photographers dream.

A recent acquisition by Notts & Derby, is this huge 95 seater, tri-axle Volvo B7L, East Lancs 'Nordic' double-decker.
Numbered 21 in the N&D fleet, it is one of two such vehicles acquired from the former MASS Transit company in South Yorkshire. These buses were originally new to 'First Glasgow', and appear to have been purchased by N&D, solely for school contracts work.
Unfortunately, 21's first morning in service saw it involved in minor collision, which damaged the backend of the bus. However, it is now repaired and back in traffic.
Prior to N&D winning the current contract to operate the Ilkeston to Sandiacre (111 Friesland School) contract, the previous operator Linburg Tours of Derby, used an ex Hong Kong, Volvo Olympian on the service to cope with the passenger numbers.
En route for Sandiacre, the 'Nordic' is pictured on Stapleford Road in Trowell, Nottingham on the morning of 20th April 2018.

OK, it's Sunday night right now and tomorrow
morning I'm heading on over to the small bike
shop in the small town next to our small village.
For a few months now I've had No Brakes
on the backend of the scooter/sidecar ;-0
And yes that has been a challenge but
everything around here is a challenge !
Sense the front brakes has been our
only stopping power they will be
checked out too. There's an
old Thai saying here ---
"Cheaper to buy a horn then new brakes"
Well now it's time for some new brakes ;-)
Thank You.

You know this car. Everyone does. This is a replica of the Wagon Queen Family Truckster from National Lampoon's Vacation, the 1983 classic comedy written by John Hughes starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold. The only surviving Truckster from the film is kept at the Historic Auto Attractions museum in Roscoe, Illinois. But that hasn't stopped a handful of enterprising souls from recreating one of the ugliest, yet most beloved, of all fictional vehicles ever to grace a movie screen.
This replica, built by Eric Wise of Independence, Missouri, is based on a 1985 Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon. Photographed at the 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour stopover in Springfield, Illinois on June 6, 2010.

The Broken bridge is derelict pedestrian bridge located at the mouth of the Adyar River in Chennai, India.
The bridge was built to facilitate the movement of fishermen from Santhome beach to Elliot's beach over the mouth of the Adyar river. The bridge spans across the Adyar estuary bordering the backend of the Theosophical Society. The bridge partly collapsed after due to strong currents of the river during a particular monsoon, and was later never repaired.
This bridge is no more in use. This is an unsafe place at nights...

A rare 1955 Studebaker Ambulet. The Ambulet was a sub-model of the 2-door Commander Conestoga Station Wagon. The model included a stretcher, red cross decals, and other ambulance features. The Ambulet was promoted primarily for police and fire departments, as well as for small-town funeral homes, many of which provided ambulance services at the time.

I still remember the great day he delivered the Albion Crane i bought off him and he drove it from his base to our yard in Huddersfield at the backend of 2022 in cold weather and i tracked his progress on my phone.
He really wanted it to go to me and i visited him a few times until the day came and he was always easy going and full of fun and he put me at ease after a few brews as i was not 100% about about buying a crane and using it but he said he would always still be on hand to give us some help and advise anytime and i kept in touch with him regular.
A very Genuine Man and salt of the earth!

On the lunge line.
Lunging, simply put is an effective and easy way to train and exercise your horse. Involving your horse moving in a large circle around the handler which is attached typically via a long rein, and should be practiced in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
Here at Briarwood, we love a good lunge line session in the early morning, I know I and a few others of the instructor team here come out every morning to work our horses and clients' horses on the lunge line before lessons and rides out from the stables. There truly is no better way to start your morning than drinking your preferred beverage and letting the horses fresh from turnout have some time to express their energy, and exercise for the day.
Oh! And I almost forgot to introduce you to my new homebred [see a girl can change! He isn't imported] this is a very special horse who is just coming up now through his training, and has found his place as my new western prospect for the year. Though I love my two boys who I have currently been winning on, I don't think it's fair to constantly ride them month after month in competition with very few breaks from training. So as you have all seen now, we have my new dressage mare who is a superstar 'Black Swan', and now this very promising young horse.
This is The SandMan, or as we at the barn know him 'Tony'. He is one of the first homebred horses we produced from my stallion The CandyMan, and I think we can all come together and agree that it was the right choice for me to keep this one.
He has all the movement and power you want in a western horse and he has come up through training with a strong backend and a good mind, he has all the things that made his daddy great going for him and more! Solid framed, strong feet, a large stride, and of course he is show-stoppingly beautiful. As you all know I'm very much a girl of my aesthetics, and I do firmly believe there's no such color as a good horse. But when the good horse happens to be the right color, it does help.
He does have some babies on the ground now and will have more babies on the ground coming forwards as will his sire. But we are focusing heavily on training, so- sorry for the disjointed introduction of this boy.
Crowe Screams,
As always more to come! ♥
