Still plenty of colour in the trees around the Adelaide Hills. Couldnt resist this idyllic country scene even after having to wait ages for the horse to pose anything other than its backend to me!
The reflections in Bergen can be unbelivebal beutiful, one of the most beutiful is this fortress. On the right you also see the backend of a supply wessel, that sunbols the importans of Oil for Norway. Also a snicking fog in the background.
Bangalore is undisputedly the software hub for the IT industry from where India churns out billions of dollars worth of backend work for corporations located abroad. It is a thriving metropolis gone to seed already. The infrastructure just can not cope up.
Flickr is dotted with a rather large number of software and allied engineers who work in Bangalore. This post is to them and their lives.
On the Bangalore Mysore highway, about 50 kms out is a place called Ramadevaraya which is a hill rising up on the right hand side of the road. This is just before the town of Ramanagaram.
A small narrow road snakes up passing the ubiquitous schools of higher professional learning that come up at the oddest of places in India as commercial education mongers / monsters set up their shops anywhere and everywhere they can find a place. So once you have passed the College of Pharmacy and climbed up a smaller hill you come to a small meadow with a lake and barred gates of red blue and white set up by the temple organisers. The stairs about 300 of them leading up to the temple repeat the same color scheme of blue red and white.
There were children raising up a merry din and you could hear that from afar. I thought there was a school group out on a jaunt but there were only 6 of them from the village nearby and it looked that the local schools and colleges would never see these young ones in their classrooms anytime soon. The merry bunch was blissfully unaware of attending a school and what education could or could not give them.
Portrayed here is Sita with a flawless dark skin and she sports a fearless red bindi and possesses an elegant jaw line, high cheekbones and collagen full luscious lips and an inborn grace and poise that was amazing to see and remember the lack of it in the so called professional models that one tends to bump into ever so often. No tutoring what so ever was required. She is a born natural

Yes its back wall is sagging, but it’s still standing. This is the back of the Star Theater, a Cantonese Opera House who’s backend sits on Main Street in the California Delta Community of Locke. Locke was founded in 1915 and the Star Theater opened on the same year, a rare for the time-period 3 story wooden structure. The town of Locke now known as the Locke Historic District, came to be in 1915 built by Chinese immigrants from Heungshan [Xiangshan] County (modern day Zhongshan) from Guangdong Province, China. The historical significance of Locke is that it is the most complete example of rural, agricultural Chinese American community in the United States. Many of the founding residents came from families that were recruited to build the Central Pacific contribution to the Transcontinental Railroad. OM Systems Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark III Olympus M. This day was a day comprised of constant change and photographic opportunities. A fast moving cold weather system spent the past twenty-four hours working its way through the Yosemite area.
Now in its wake I found a completely different looking landscape then that of just the day prior. There was now anywhere from a dusting to knee-deep snow throughout the Valley and above which totally changed the look and mood of the area. I spent the bulk of my day traveling by vehicle or on foot searching for new and interesting photographs.
In this image I was lucky to have decided to seek out and create photographs in the east end of the valley as sunset neared. The backend to yesterdays storm still lingered. Shortly before sunset the clouds lifted, thinned and parted. Revealing first patchy glimpses of the face and eventually the entirety of Half Dome. Here, the last rays of golden light illuminate and warm the majestic face and crown of Half Dome. From my vantage point near the edge of the forest I watched the shadows creep up from the Valley floor. It reminded me of a child slowly pulling the covers up over their face and settling in for a night of sleep.

Alredbus, asked if I'd got anymore pictures of Plymouth Atlanteans in bygone years. The answer is yes I have, and I will post the better one's as I find them. In the meantime, this particular view is related to a previous posting, but was found in a completely different slide storage box to the other similar view: www.flickr.com/photos/8050359@N07/3150446613/
The green engine bustle and cream coloured backend of another rear engined bus to the left of the picture, could suggest that this picture was taken in a dealers yard, rather than in Plymouth?

I took this photo in Hamilton city. Sometimes I think there is more beauty in alleys and backends of a city.
Just bumping a shot up so I can announce that my new website is up and running!
Please check it out and let me know what you think. I still have alot of work to do on some of the backend functionality and things like that....I used Aphotofolio for the website and will hopefully be able to integrate with my photoshelter site.

Knowing about the moderate risk of severe storms on the eastern side of Colorado and the western side of Nebraska, I had planned out the day perfectly to intercept the back side of the cells about 4pm Mountain time.
Now into Yuma County Colorado, this was when all the action began. Tornado warning was in effect just a few miles north of Hwy 34 and I had a good sight on the backend of this developing severe storm.
From Fort Morgan Colorado via Hwy 34/6 back to Nebraska was my route back behind the developing cells. To honestly say... I wasn't disappointed. The open cloudscapes of Colorado are a photographers dream.

Remnants Of Hurricane Sandy - BoardWalk To Nowhere At NY Home Beach - IMRAN™
I stayed home on Long Island, New York during hurricane Sandy several years ago. It had ripped my community’s boardwalk and marina.
Debris and even pieces of docks, decks, and boardwalks had been carried by the storm. We were in the straight line of the hurricane track. But we got extremely lucky to survive when it changed course almost 90 degrees. But it decimated parts of New Jersey that year.
This is a remnant from those events, towards the far backend of the Heron Pointe private beach. I felt the black and white picture conveyed that story better.

In shot is a gaze through the backend of a gridded snoot, a tube that fits over the front of lighting to straighten and narrow, lighting is probably the most significant thing you can change and control to get the image we are after, although this is not expensive by photographic standards, it is a fine bit of gear to have, indeed some might even say it is top gear.
'Top gear' is the name of a BBC television entertainment series, sort of about cars, latest series a it to contrieved, even for me, but some previous specials have been good fun, I dont watch much telly, so I guess you could say that this was some of my faves.

When walking to the location at Whitacre Junction I saw this pass as it headed towards Washwood Heath to perform the run-round. I noted a decent load on it but suspected that the backend was empty due to the distinctive sound the flats make when passing. That proved to be the case when they became the leading part when passing me here.
As frustrating as it is to have fresh air behind the loco I would still rather a shot than not.
My cousin Lynn loves her cats... ALL her cats... joke, she only has 3, and I better be careful, as she might read this LOL
This is Tazzie... a beautiful big tabby and she was enjoying the afternoon sun on the deck... I caught her on camera just before she tried to climb unto the pot of flowers LOL
We have very dull miserable, foggy weather right now, so it's nice to be able to look back at photos just a few weeks old that were full of sunshine :)
Hope you are all having a good week so far, mine is busy, and I finally got my suitcase moved out of the living room again... stored away until the next holiday......
Thank you everyone for all your wonderful comments, I'm afraid I'm not getting much time to reply these days, but I promise I'll get caught up soon (somehow) lol
Enjoy your Tuesday :)

The sun about to break out, over the horizon.
Very little processing. All exposures shot in RAW . Total 3 exposures. long exposure for the backend water. slower shutter for the waves. No filters/Grads on camm or off cam :-)
Update: And....No, my camera did not get wet, my feet did get wet. I normally follow the pattern of the waves and then choose the spot.
My gorgeous daughter Brittany came with me to the Flinders Ranges at christmas. I was mucking around with the flash a bit. She said she didnt like the results, but I cannot help myself.

60021 with the 6E09 0729 Liverpool Biomass Tml Gbf to Drax Aes (Gbrf) passing Goose Hill. Not a lot has changed here at the location since 2016. Not as green but its only April and the 2016 shot was at the backend of summer.
I’ve had to dig through the achieves for this, not had much time for photography over the last few weeks and the weather has been poor!
I tried taking a picture similar to this at the beginning of last year but I was only using the kit lens for commuting back then and although the kit lens that came with the camera produces reasonable pictures it was about as useful as a chocolate fire guard when it came to lens flare.
So I decided to bide my time and wait until I got some better kit, I was in two minds whether to use the Tamron 17-50 or the Canon 10-22 as there are occasions where I find the ultra wide angle can make a picture look flat.
Anyway I decided to go for the Canon with the ‘Light Craft Workshop ND500’ on the end so that I could get a really long exposure.
I ended up blending 2 pictures in post for this, the bulk of the image is made up of 4 minute exposure and I also used a 60 second exposure so I could keep the highlights on ‘Big Ben’ and ‘Westminster Bridge’ in check. I can’t believe how empty this place looks considering it was the backend of rush hour and there were plenty of commuters/tourists milling around!
My entry into the recoding images group, theme night time
***Martin Turner suggested that I go for a square crop on this, and I tended to agree with him, the main reason why I didn't post this originally was because the LHS of the picture bugged me. Anyway I looked at square cropping from the RHS but it didn't look that great so I went for a 4/3 crop instead (which if anyone knows about TV standards they'll know that this is the same aspect as a standard def transmission). I think that this looks better than the original............ what about you?***

So you had your turn, and you made it work.
Now I'm the laughing stock of your joke.
As crazy as it may seem, I cried for you when you
Told me to date all of the things that made you end up in my life
And I'll believe anything I have no luck with girls.
I overheard that you were unhappy, too.
Misleading trust into a relationship that makes no sense.
Over and out, Connecticut.
But you had your back turned there as you faded away.
At the end of my day I found out you
Weren't worth what I thought of you
What I thought of you.
