Looks to me like all the somersaults, backbends and splashing put you in a delightful mood. Yay!
For the record, this is a blooming succulent called Echeveria feeling fabulous.

*** I missed the charm swap, but still I'd love to swap fussy cut charms if anyone is interested. I would love: chickens, yoga (backbend or headstand girl), Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Jungle Book, swimming pool, sea life/ocean, beach, fireflies, calypso, or lobsters... for now. :) FYI: My inchworm fabric is in EUC and has been washed. ***
So, I have this little stash of Munki Munki that I am dying to cut into. But a I need a plan.
There are several Munki quilts out there to inspire me, like Ashley's (of course! 1, 2, 3, 4), me? a mom?'s and oh-cherry-sew's . I just don't know that I can pull something off like them. I have a hard time pairing dissimilar fabrics together and accepting that they don't exactly match. Should I stick with mostly solids to frame/showcase the fussy cut illustrations? Mix in other patterns (dots and stripes)? Since the fabric is so limited, I am having a hard time making up my mind... Oh, and I have some other HR fabric... should I mix some of that in too (horses, dolls, racecars, tadpoles)?? Or limit to just Munki Munki?
Decisions, decisions. Such a conundrum. ;)
My oldest daughter is wanting a doll quilt, but I am hoping to talk her into at least a nap size quilt.

all shots from the 3-23-12 performance "reanimate" at the jewelbox/rendezvous theatre in Seattle Wa. this was Atmosfear productions first time putting together a show like this, and it was a smash hit. they sold out every seat in the house, and put together an incredibly talented group of performers and stage hands.
“When all is done, you must look in your own heart to know the truth. It lies at some middle depth, half-truths above, half-truths below. Even my truth, what I tell you know, is colored to fit my vision. Find your own truths as best you can, only remember that few are courageous enough to tell a tale of which they are not the hero.” ― Alida Van Gores, Mermaid's Song
Going through the archives and I find myself loving this image more and more. It is as if time makes a photo so much more rich emotionally and artistically for me once time has had a chance to age the memory, the moment, the feeling.
Kellee Dohrman and Jameson Henkle, I plan to be in your area in the middle of July timeframe and would love to make some acro art in the Redwoods. Just saying.
Such a beautiful and graceful Mermaid Kellee Dohrman!!! Flyer: @k.dohrman_acroandyoga

I always tell noob lady models to bring a nice dress to start out with. See, if you are working with somebody who's got a laundry list of experience, they flip *on* and are ready to go. But even people who are used to other kinds of performing can have issues with photo posing.
So, they'll show up all tight and anxious and stuff. And the last thing they need is some weird-looking guy with a camera telling them to get out the undies and start posing all tarty. They'll look and decide they've got nasty thunder-thighs or wrinkles or something and get even more uncomfortable. And lightpainting or other more intricate work is very slow moving. So having the model pose in a dress is a good place to start. It's not boring street clothes, but it's not a lacy nearly-nothing either.
Also, the model needs to get used to how I work.
So, yes, this was from the first part of the shoot, where we were just getting going.
