Unfortunately, another trip to the hospital last night... fortunately, this one was not multi-day. Also, this time I had the experience to tell them to put the wrist band and IV in my left hand, so my right hand was free to operate the camera. (Another advantage of the GM1... I didn't even remember it was in my coat pocket when I left the house).

Another classic Hollywood photo that I own (which is more or less a production still from the MGM film) is from the film “Tarzan, the Ape Man” which starred Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan and Maureen O’ Sullivan as Jane Parker. Both appeared together in six Tarzan films between 1932-1942. UPDATE: Thanks to Ray Faiola for identifying the photo from “Tarzan, the Ape Man” (1932).
Weissmuller was a five-time winner of an Olympic gold medal in swimming back in the 1920′s. Of the many Tarzan films created, he is the best known. Maureen O’Sullivan was the first Hollywood film star from Ireland and is the mother of actress Mia Farrow.
I think this is the only photo I have of Johnny Weissmuller and possibly Maureen O’Sullivan.
I'm not usually a fan of slapping on cogs, but it looks like cogs and gears could conceivable actually work here.
The Commas seem to be back again, saw a few last week at Bookham Common and also today. Their curvy wing outline is great.

Another day, the same butterfly - Painted Lady's seems to appear several days in a row if the flowers are to their liking.
Hurrah, they have removed the metal from my head bones on last Monday! But they released me only one day later - very surprisingly. Not only that I looked like the bellringer from Notre Dame (or even worse), I felt awfully weak.
Now I am trying my very best to find my way back to ´normal´ life, and I do thank you for all your nice and encouraging comments, you sent me before this operation.

Back in cold November 2012, @hellogeri and I enjoyed our first proper adventure together in Düsseldorf, snapping a pic against a freshly painted colourful wall by the Rhine. This week we were lucky enough to be back in the city to grab another photo by the same (somewhat worn-looking) wall — now all married and stuff :)
These wings are HUGE. It had to be very difficult for them not to get broken when kids tossed them in the toybox.
Also the spines of the wings unfold into a ridge in her back, which means this poor doll has a big gaping slot along her spine when she's a mermaid.
It's a little off-putting.
Brac's back but not a happy bunny. I think he is still feeling sore from the op even though he has apparently been given an injection for the pain. Naturally he's very stiff as he has a cut from his sternum to groin. He has got to go back on Thursday for a check-up but they will probably not have the results of the biopsies until Friday. It is looking likely that he has lymphangiectasia as well as giardia. One may have started the other off.
