This is a view from the southeast side of our covered back porch/deck.
We get a tremendous amount of sun, and is obstensibly our second livingroom. You will often find someone in the household relaxing in the rockingchair.
177 / 365 - back to basics
(on black)
Don't have time to write anything witty, snappy, funny or pimpy. Only 4-letter words, because I'm recovering from the complete 365 wipeout described in one of the previous 365 shots (two shots ago, to be precise).
At the Heaven entrance, a guy sees another guy with a beard and recognizes him as Ansel Adams. He asks St. Peter: "Is this Ansel Adams? He's not dead yet!". To which St. Peter replies, "Oh no, that's not Ansel Adams. That's the God. He sometimes thinks he's Ansel Adams, but we don't pay much attention to that." I think Henri Cartier-Bresson is next on the God's list.
Also, paying hommage to the Pimp, who has finally completed his 365 (officially now, signed, sent, delivered and done). Long live the fedora!

It was, briefly, so nice to be back at Selhurst park, bathed in sunshine and full of expectation. Then Palace collapsed 2-0 to a very ordinary Swansea side, and we all got the de Boer blues.
By midday, the pickers are usually done with at least their pickings for the day, carrying down the cherries to the collection station to weigh the day's harvests.
Labor Day is over and now everyone is back to school... Even my little childhood friends, The Fishers and The Prices...
On the way back to Limerick, 186 went down the Foynes branch from Ballingrane Junction and is seen just before departure from Foynes. The branch lost passenger service in 1963, but remained open for freight until 16 December 2001. A major deep-water port, there has been constant pressure since for the branch to reopen.

The best I got of this pair of Red-back Kingfishers that appear to be attempting to nest again this year in Canberra. I think last year the creek caved in around their hollow, leaving the nest exposed.
Since this doesn't show the red back, there's another shot below.
