Absolutely scared *shipless* worried about it, and all the tales of how the balance would be this the feel would be that.........
Piece of cake!!! we so enjoyed it and I must say that I felt like a Mumma Gorilla with my littly clinging to my back :)
PS to add that ~ Laurel looks like a walking helmet :D
Coming back from Dorset, we stopped off for a visit to Montacute House in South Somerset, before heading back up the M5. The National Trust has a partnership at Montacute with the National Portrait Gallery.

Stable block. C19, but with some earlier fragments. Ham stone ashlar; Welsh slate roof between coped gables having obelisk finials. 'U'-plan single-storey.
East range is the long central portion, plain with central gabled four-centre-arched throughway, over which is set a carved coat of arms dated 1598 on scroll; on either side of archway are shell-hood niches; two similar niches in side walls of throughway, and also two moulded cambered- arched doorways in rectangular recesses. Throughway arch matched on west side, with circular plaque over and flanking shell-hood recesses; to either side three bays of two-light hollow-chamfer mullioned and transomed windows in wave-mould recesses without labels; from each end returns westward of five bays to match, the first two bays with similar windows: the north range has three open
wagon sheds, the south range a coach-house opening now partly boarded up, and then two cambered-arched doorways with sidelights. Inside east range the horse-boxes survive, with feed-lofts over.
A stable yard with stables, coach house, etc, indicated on this site on the rough 1782 survey, but the whole probably rebuilt between 1845-52.

The back porches on three-deckers on L Street in South Boston. Note the replacement railing on the top porch. It's a mismatch in color and design.

It's good to see Riley & McCormick back downtown again, after they closed their previous downtown store seven months ago... This is one of the most historic western wear stores in Calgary, dating back to 1901 through various stores over the years... For reference the photo from this past December - www.flickr.com/photos/sherlock77/2360550212
The night before Calgary Stampede parade, some evening activity downtown... Ten more days of fun to come yet...

It was a beautiful sunday afternoon we were out to take pictures along the river. We were like kids: fun and young.
I borrow the title from the recent song of Taylor Swift just to remind myself to live full each day, no regrets, no "what if" and whenever I look back, they are all happiness and joys.

...I was out testing the new arrival family member - Yashica RF 35. Desperate to kill the roll in an hour to see the outcome..I turned to a back alley and found some hidden treasure...not a surprise find at all but I still don't get it...

Unfortunately, another trip to the hospital last night... fortunately, this one was not multi-day. Also, this time I had the experience to tell them to put the wrist band and IV in my left hand, so my right hand was free to operate the camera. (Another advantage of the GM1... I didn't even remember it was in my coat pocket when I left the house).
Submitted for 52 in 2015 Week #03 Non-Theme'd Photo... need to try to get the theme photo taken today.
I know, that this is nothing special, plus I took it with my iPhone, but somehow I still like it... it's the clouds, the colors... I can't really explain... not the quality for sure, lol
We were in rush on the way to the train station & simply had no time to take my camera from my bag, which was in the back of my car... yet I'm fed up missing beautiful moments for all kinds of reasons... :)
On our trip back to Las Vegas from the Grand Canyon, I made the family stop for photos at the Hoover Damn, we got there late in the afternoon, so the visitor's center was closed. My family did get ice cream, while I took time to take some pics.
I didn't get a good shot of the damn, this is the only one that remote shows the size.
