Terence C. Reilly Students, staff and parents decided to culminate Breast Cancer Awareness month with a 5k! This event was part of the Alliance for Healthier Generation Healthy School Program initiative and was organized by our school wellness council and PTO. During the month of October the school wellness committee sold pink socks in anticipation of the event. Students alongside their parents and teachers dressed in their pink socks to raise community awareness and walked a total of five kilometers around the school. Reilly team members kicked off the event by honoring our current teachers that have been survivors of breast cancer. The Terence C. Reilly school community raised over two thousand dollars towards the cause. We are encouraged at the overwhelming support from our school and community to work together to fight breast cancer.
