In the SDDC headquarters building today, the command health and wellness coordinator (Betty Hart) held a popular pet awareness presentation as part of Work and Family Month. "Because Pets are family, too," Hart explained. On hand to provide pet tips and advice were: Dr. Craig Thacker from the Scott AFB Veterinarian Clinic; representatives from Spencer Pet Rescue and the Belleville Area Human Society; and Timothy Knoch from SDDC's G6 directorate. Mr. Knoch volunteers with a local organization, K9 Rescue & Rehab.

I had undergone a major surgery but inner awareness that "Its not happening to me, I am beyond that" was constantly there. And I even felt the presence of the heavenly beings, during the surgery. Though there was tremendous suffering in the body, but through this knowledge, I could remain in the awareness of the Self that "I am Pure Soul" and not the body.

सत फाउंडेशन के सोजन्य से आज दिनाक 01 /03/2015 को M.D.D बाल भवन (अनाथ आश्रम ) फूसगढ़ (करनाल ) में होली पवित्र पर्व पर जागरूकता कार्यंकर्म किया गया जिसमे मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्री अमरेन्द्र सिंह ओ. अस. डी. to मुख्यामंत्री हरियाणा व श्री शेर सिंह जी जेल सुपरिटेंडेंट करनाल व सत फाउंडेशन के चेयरमैन सतेन्द्र कुमार ,ईश्वर सिंह,सुमेर चन्द , डायरेक्टर मनोज कुमार व दीपक कुमार व सेक्रटरी भविष्य साहनी, नरेन्द्र कुमार, विरेन्दर,अनिल , हँस कुमार, व M.D.D बाल भवन (अनाथ आश्रम ) के चेयरमैन पी. आर .नाथ व सभी बच्चे और सभी टीम मेम्बर व सभी गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने मिलकर होली के पवित्र पर्व पर जागरूकता कार्यंकर्म में भाग लिया. होली पर्व को मनाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य मानव कल्याण ही है होली पर्व के पीछे तमाम धार्मिक मान्यताएं, परम्पराएं और ऐतिहासिक घटनाएं छुपी हुई हैं पर अंतत: इस पर्व का मुख्य उद्देश्य मानव–कल्याण ही है। लोकसंगीत, नृत्य, नाट्य, लोककथाओं, क़िस्से–कहानियों और यहाँ तक कि मुहावरों में भी होली के पीछे छिपे संस्कारों, मान्यताओं व दिलचस्प पहलुओं की झलक मिलती है। होली को आपसी प्रेम एवं एकता का प्रतीक माना जाता है। होली हमें सभी मतभेदों को भुलाकर एक–दूसरे को गले लगाने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करती है। इसके साथ ही रंगो का त्यौहार होने के कारण भी होली हमें प्रसन्न रहने की प्रेरणा देती है इसलिए इस पवित्र पर्व के अवसर पर हमें ईर्ष्या, द्वेष, कलह आदि बुराइयों को दूर भगाना चाहिए। वास्तव में हमारे द्वारा होली का त्यौहार मनाना तभी सार्थक होगा जब हम इसके वास्तविक महत्व को समझकर उसके अनुसार आचरण करें। इसलिए वर्तमान परिवेश में जरूरत है कि इस पवित्र त्यौहार पर आडम्बर की बजाय इसके पीछे छुपे हुए संस्कारों और जीवन मूल्यों को अहमियत दी जाए तभी व्यक्ति, परिवार, समाज और राष्ट्र सभी का कल्याण होगा।

In Shimoga, a blitz of communications activities designed to convince the population to adopt Improved cook stoves has been taking place.
Activities in Shimoga include van campaigns, touring every village and town with a population of 2000 upwards (110 in total) and conducting extensive awareness-raising activities, focused around demonstrating Improved Cook Stoves. These are scenes from a typical campaign day.
Waste management awareness- Upasana Society- Feb 2017
Upasna Society NGO in association with Patkar college students ( Duheeta Joshi, Yash Chavan, Chaitali Pawar, Arya Vaidya, Hardik Rane, Trishant Bhatt and Vyanketesh Lutkurthi) is organising an awareness campaign on waste management in United English school at Malad Marve on 13th of Feb 2017 at 3pm . It is a school for under privileged children. Believing in the idea of, “What we sow, so shall we reap”, is the main motto of the campaign.
Students will be taught about waste management and its importance through audio visual aids.
Upasana Society volunteers would be demonstrating them what exactly is dry and wet waste.
"Best out of waste" competition will also be conducted for the kids.
Upasana Society volunteers will be installing two separate dustbins for the segregation of waste at the school so that the students can take this example to their own house.
At Upasana Society NGO, It is important to know how and what affects us and how we can bring out sustainable change. Thus this will be a small step towards bringing about a positive change in the society.

The purpose of this student organization is to promote disability awareness on campus and in the community. SDA hopes to achieve this by working with other groups on campus and in the community through the programming of various events.
