Autunno in Appennino
Appennino bolognese, ottobre 2017:
Ora che ho ritrovato la scheda SD con gli scatti da cui avevo postato la foto, non mi sembra vero di poter caricare l’intero set di paesaggi montani nei colori autunnali.
Tullymore Forest Park is one of my favourite places in autumn because of the fantastic array of colours.
I headed out early morning as I knew it was going to be a good day. The river levels where perfect for the shot that I wanted.

Sunset and Autumn colors seem to call for anyone to 'walk this way' along a pedestrian path in Cookeville, Tennessee. Sometimes things are just naturally inviting...
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Autumn morning in the Appalachian Mountains at the Hebron Rock Colony. Photographed on a photo shoot with awesome photographer (and my friend) Dale King. Thank you Dale for showing me this beautiful location.

This year (2022) I used my new phone for the wide angle and I was very glad with the result😍
This one is taken from another corner, but the same glacier as my previous upload at the Sognefjellsvegen, Norway🌞
It’s out of season now, but I just came across this one while sorting archives files, and love the warm bright hues along the Stanley Park seawall, looking down on the heritage Vancouver Rowing Club. It was one of those luscious autumn days when the whole world seems to glow.
THE VANCOUVER ROWING CLUB
In 1911, a new clubhouse was constructed and the building received heritage designation in 1990 from City of Vancouver. The club has four sections: Rowing, Rugby, Field Hockey and Yachting. The Yachting Section, originally called the Mooring Section, was founded in 1926 with the club’s first organized sailing races beginning in 1927. Presently, the Yachting Section has approximately 500 members and our moorage facility can accommodate up to 230 boats.

No Autumn is complete without a visit to the National Trust property at Sheffield Park.
I managed to visit just as the Autumn colours were putting on a display and reflecting in the wonderful lalkes.
The Grade I listed garden is a horticultural work of art formed through centuries of landscape design, with influences of 'Capability' Brown and Humphry Repton. Four lakes form the heart of the garden, with paths circulating through the glades and wooded areas surrounding them. Each owner has left their impression, which can still be seen today.
The historic parkland forms a larger footprint for the Sheffield Park estate. Dating back several centuries, it has had many uses including a deer park and WWII camp, and is now grazed with livestock.
I'm in an autumn photo mood🍁
I really love this season with all those beautiful colors.
This one is taken at the Snow Road, Aurlandsfjellet, Norway, going down to Aurland. A great view to stop and see all those wonderful autumn colors😍
Also a great memory of where I stood 2 years ago🌞
Even though the color wasn't all that great this year, I still liked this tamarack bog with a nice little creek winding through it.
Thank you for taking time from your busy day to view, fave and comment on my images. It is always appreciated.

In October, I was attracted to this section of a forrest near Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia. The wet, foggy scene was saturated with vibrant yellow, orange, green, and red. I decided to edit the image to simplify the composition and subdue most of the other colors in order to allow the color "red" to have even a stronger presence in the image.
We had to drive through Hiawatha National Forest to get to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Hiawatha has pine forests sprinkled with small maple trees. When we saw these little maples glowing in the morning light we had to make a quick stop.
Two photographs for you guys today! This was the real reason I went out yesterday morning. For a long time I've wanted to try and get out during sunrise and shoot during this time when the lighting is just heavenly. This was my first real attempt at this so it was a little overwhelming at first but I think I managed to pull off two decent shots that I'm happy with. This was just a test run though just to see how this lighting works and the effect it has on the subject and what I need to do as a photographer to capture that. Definitely more to learn and definitely going to keep trying. Keep an eye on my feed as I'll definitely be taking advantage of the late sunrises and autumn season as well as maybe going for sunset shoots!
What do you guys think of these two shots? Any tips?
