Some nice fall color starting in the background. This is a great place to dump out all of your Halloween candy for sorting and trading. I’ll trade you 4 Kit Kat’s and a snickers for that Heath bar and 2 peanut butter cups!
One of our last beautiful autumn days, perfect weather to enjoy a hike. Today's rain and snow make days like this seem like a distant memory.
We've had a very mild autumn with strong winds, so a lot of the leaves have been blown off before they've had a chance to change colour. I managed to find some here.
Autumn colour in my street at Castle Hill, in north-western Sydney. This is a liquidambar tree photographed on a rainy morning in May, some years ago now, with a Canon 60D.

Yes Autumn is here, but it doesn't feel like it, it was 27º here today! I had to go in search of Autumn trees, not much change around here.

Here in Australia, it's the first day of Winter, and it was chilly start. Autumn tones can still be seen everywhere.

Shot I took during my walk to uni on Tuesday morning. It was a beautiful morning, with gorgeous light and a soft, light mist. Only got round to processing this today so here you go! Hope you guys like it!
Yesterday morning I was entertained by two red squirrels in the tree outside the window. This wee one was trying to have a snooze, but the other one came and disturbed it. After what looked like he told his friend off, the wee sleepy head could go back for another snooze. Can't blame him! :)
The weather has been warm for November, around 70 degrees (21C), so I am surprised no one is having a picnic. You can pick your bench. I like the one on the left. There is nice playground equipment for the kids too.
I was going to ask for a hotdog or even a marshmallow. It is hungry work taking pictures :)))

I just have to go back to this spot every Autumn. This time a squared format pano stitched together in PS to try and capture the scale of the Beech trees. There is some distortion from looking up into the branches as they arch over my head.
