The beautiful trees looked like they were all joined together for a gathering.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Autumn and spring are my favorite seasons❣️

"Notice that Autumn is more the season of the soul than of nature." ~ Friedrich Nietzsches

Even the golden leaves of this lovely tree captured at Lanercost Priory in Northumberland, UK several years ago cannot lighten the sadness that I feel today at the news that my favorite nephew has cancer.

"Autumn embraces change, even as she is falling to pieces."

~ Angie Weiland-Crosby

*I hope it never happens to any of you, but if your cat ever becomes ill with cancer please research Cat's Claw, Burdock, and Dandelion Root. These three supplements appear to be helping Chiyo greatly.

I think it was my last chance to photograph these trees before the rain, snow and winds make them fall. We had the first snow, and I'm really surprised that they still look pretty much the same.

I took this one during the evening, just a little before the sun set for the day...

Enjoy!

dwarfed tree. hanging scroll.

My favorite tree that I see everyday on my walk, towers over the neighborhood like a sentinel. I always check anxiously that it has survived after every bad wind storm, and we've just had a doozy. This is how it looked on Election Day and it has come to symbolize for me our humble new, President-elect who I pray can lead us out of this fog of disease and hatred and hard times.

One of our many chrysanthemums that we have for our fall flower garden. Mums are my favorite fall flower.

An ICM of Mosquito Creek forest from last month. This is very near to my home, so I walk here a lot. The bit of red at the bottom right is a sign that says "Slow your roll", as a lot of bicyclists ride here as well.

Officially still Autumn ( hence. the changing colours of the trees) with sub temperature mountain conditions.

Beautiful explosion of colour and light.

The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) in the Central Interior of BC encompasses 80,252 square kilometers of land. The Cariboo and Coastal mountain ranges hug the CRD on its west and east side boundaries. The region straddles Highway 97 from 70 Mile House in the south to 5 km south of Hixon in the north.

I won't go into the thinking behind the ongoing construction of the High Speed 2 (HS2) line which is costing at least £106bn and rising... No, this is the local railway line which once brought me back from work in Birmingham City Centre to my local station. I've always meant to take a picture of it from the railway bridge about a mile from home and now I have ! Love the autumn colours here.

Taken with my iPhone and edited in Topaz Studio, with finishing touches in the new PicMonkey.

Thanks for all your nice comments and faves - you're all very appreciated !

Today I had the chance to go out and enjoy the outdoors again. The temperatures were around the 50s F, and I probably did the right thing since tomorrow things are going to change A LOT, the freezing temperatures are going to start and snow may be coming my way, but in all fairness it has been very mild and pleasant. People were taking a stroll, runners were out too, birds and deer also were part of the scenery, but what I enjoyed the most were the trees and the leaves that covered most of the ground, some of them with frozen patterns that I will be posting soon.

Some good music while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate...

As we are in the Southern Hemisphere, we have Autumn now.

The snow that made Halloween a challenge for the trick-or-treaters created a rare combination of seasons for photographers.

Autunno e nebbie nel Frignano

(Appennino Modenese)

An autumnal scene over the River Wye at Glasbury-on-Wye, Wales UK...

The River Wye passes through many towns and cities along it's path to the Severn estuary, but the waters here are usually much deeper than this, this time of year and usually the trees on the left are under water... The result of not much rainfall this year!...

This panorama is a composite of 5 pictures stitched together using photomerge in photoshop...

“The heart of autumn must have broken here, and poured its treasure upon the leaves.”

To be or not to be a fence. I always think fence posts with wire between them are cheap imitations of a fence, but it seems to do the job. Have a great weekend my friends. HFF
