Those halcyon days of autumn seem so long ago, though this photo was taken just yesterday. Today I drove with a couple of friends over a high mountain pass with a lot of snow coming down. What normally takes 4 hours took 6.5 as several times we could not move ahead because of traffic ahead, mainly big transport trucks sliding all over the road and not able to get up the hills. There were vehicles gone off the road all over the place too. It was a bit scary.

Fall sometimes feels like a fleeting season as we tend to measure the season by the fall colors. We have been hiking as much as we can when the leaves were in their prime. Then I realized I needed to put my garden to bed for the winter soon. Sure enough, as soon I was done with that, the snow came. It’s not enough to shovel yet but the branches on my bushes and trees are drooping with the heavy wet snow. I am glad we took the time to enjoy the fall fashion show. I must remember that it is still fall until December.

After walking in Perthshire on a cloudy but calm day instead of taking the usual route home down the A9 I took a quieter road and came across Loch Clunie not far from Blairgowrie .
I had the most wonderful time walking around this gorgeous lake at Wakehurst botanic gardens in Sussex. It was so peaceful and tranquil. I could have sat by the lake for hours on end!

Quick sunset snap from last night on the way home from uni! The sunrises and sunsets these past few weeks have been beautiful and I haven't always been so fortunate to have my camera on me!

Two shots, one not in focus, blended, for a little bit of autumn art. :-) I sure hate to see the colors pass and the leaves fall.
Fall/Autumn colours reflecting on Bridge Lake

A rural area of the Cariboo Region dressed in Autumn golds and greens under a moody looking sky
The small community of Bridge Lake, located in the Interlakes district of the Southern Cariboo, was originally situated on the historic Fur Brigade Trail. The Fur Brigade Trail dates back to the early pioneer days of fur trading and was a combination of waterways and overland trails, used to connect trading posts. After the construction of the Cariboo Wagon Road during the 1860s the Fur Brigade Trail became redundant.
The beautiful Interlakes area is aptly named the “Fishing Highway”, as anglers can access over 300 lakes, making this one of the best fishing spots in British Columbia.

Here I am, back in the woods again, enjoying the leaf carpet during a sunny early afternoon. There are still colourful leaves on the trees, and yesterday's rain didn't make too much mud !
My picture is textured with two of my own textures.
I do hope you like it !
Thank you as always for every view, my Flickr friends.
Happy December 😃 everyone !
So today we are back up in the Blue Mountains at the Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens.
Mount Tomah is located just past Bilpin (an apple orchard paradise) along the Bells Line Of Road.
Mount Tomah is about a two hour's drive from Sydney.
And coffee is available!!!
