While visiting Senseless_, I became a crazy cat lady and attracted a bunch of neighborhood cats... this was was named Cupcake and was supercute, especially when he (yes, he) saw his reflection in my bumper and attacked.

For the first time ever, a pair of robins built a nest in the maple tree. Crows were constantly trying to get into the maple tree, but the robins were vigilant and attacking the crows.
a rumor about a so-called 'yeti' was seen on the streets of Blüdhaven over the past yew weeks. nightwing decided to investigate further... then one stormy night, a white creature attacked nightwing, it was hard to see him due to the show... but nightwing managed to dodge his attack. will he ever take down the Yeti? Who or What is it?

This photo shows the 500th Squadron's attack on shipping at Vunapope, near Rabaul, which led to the epic air battle in which 17 Japanese fighters were claimed shot down for the loss of two B-25s. Taken from plane #572, piloted by 1/Lt. Thane C. Hecox, this photo shows attacks on a 5000-ton and 6000-ton freighter. Both vessels were claimed sunk, although the photographs and Japanese shipping records do not confirm this. (John C. Hanna Collection)
Carcassonne in Mircroscale - a build by 6th grader Geroge during Saturday Lego lessons.
After a summer trip to the south of France, George came to Lego ready to attempt his most detailed build yet. Using plans of the ancient city, George chose to focus on the castle at the center of the fortified town. He looked carefully at the shape and details, simplifying and translating into a microscale version.
After the castle and landscape were completed, George decided to add action to help create a more dynamic presentation. Be sure to look for the red and blue wizards controlling their dragons!

German troops with grenade bags peer out of their trench. The reclining German with the cigarette in the background suggests this is not the prelude to a real attack.
Where there are lots of shorebirds there are usually birds of prey looking for the unlucky and unwary. Mary's Point was no exception. While watching the birds, on the evening of August 9, 2016, they suddenly exploded into flight. I quickly looked around and spotted a Merlin giving chase.
As it's appearance happened so fast I had little time to adjust my camera settings for a bird of prey in flight. I did manage two quick shots and this highly cropped one is the best.
The Merlin attack was unsuccessful but its appearance drove the birds off for the rest of the evening.
