Willie Wagtail (Rhipidura leucophrys)
Little Raven (Corvus mellori)
Willie was not pleased that the Raven was in its territory and decided it had to move on. The Raven was last seen making a hasty retreat with two Wagtails on its tail!
1501 kicks out a fine head of steam as it starts the climb up Highley Bank. The nickname Raging Bull is well earned considering the noise it made too.
I completely forgot about this shot from a couple weeks back. We had been watching this Western Screech-Owl for a short time after it came to the edge of the nest box. We had taken some shots and Elliot had gone to the restroom before we left.
While I was waiting for him, a California Scrub Jay had taken umbrage to the owl being outside the box. It squawked and landed on top of the nest box warning the owl it wasn't happy. My lens was too long to capture both in the shot but you can clearly see the defense posture by the WSO.
Leaping down from the shadows above their helicarrier, Armorsmith takes out the sentry's blocking his progress.
The green bees don't like to see anyone sitting and enjoying lunch on their flowers. They will dive-bomb and knock off anybody they see, including, other green bees, both male and female, other halictid bees, honey bees and skippers.
Been trying to get this shot for a while, and still not happy with it, but it's the best out of the last 100 attempts. I should probably be taking video.

In the assault to thwart Grevious, Obi Wan Kenobi leads the 212th Division to assault the crater planet of Utapau. The fighting is fierce, and it will be a hard fought battle.
So firstly, thank you all SO much for the advice, criticism, encouragement and comments on the WIP photos. They were essential to this build, and in my opinion, made it look WAY better than before.Make sure to check out the album for more pictures! :)
My favorite part of this dio is probably the LAAT/i gunship or the rockwork.
God bless!
Ta Prohm. The temple was built without mortar and, after it was abandoned, trees took root in the loosened stones. The trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of the most popular temples with visitors to the area

🎼: Heart Attack ~ Demi Lovato~
Putting my defenses up
Cause I don’t wanna fall in love
If I ever did that
I think I’d have a heart attack
Never put my love out on the line
Never said yes to the right guy
Never had trouble getting what I want
But when it comes to you, I’m never good enough
When I don’t care
I can play ‘em like a Ken doll
Won’t wash my hair
Then make 'em bounce like a basketball
But you make me wanna act like a girl
Paint my nails and wear high heels
Yeah you, make me so nervous
That I just can’t hold your hand
(dang good thing I know CPR and more ... LOL)
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, and stay safe! ❤️❤️❤️
A regiment of Union troop reenactors pause to reload during a mock battle at a U. S. Civil War reenactment in Hainesville, Illinois, last weekend. The background beyond the trees is obscured by smoke from cannon fire that was filling the air.
I got the opportunity to see a Green Heron flying near our pond two evenings ago. I heard it before I saw it, so I knew to grab my camera and scan the sky. They're not very big, but they're unique so it wasn't too hard to find.
I was surprised to find some red-winged black birds chasing it through the sky, likely attacking as a way of protecting their babies and territory. (If you know, you know).
This is one of the pictures I managed to capture of one of the red-winged blackbirds going after the green heron as it tries to land on a tree.
It was fun to watch. I hope you enjoy the picture!

The Limpkin had been peacefully feeding when the grackle came by and began to attack him. Fortunately it did not last long but they are definitely fierce attackers . They will even go after the snail kites and eagles. Amazing to watch nature in action !!!
Wishing you a great and blessed Tuesday !!!!!!

Taken in July on the Farne Islands. I was using my camera to protect my head and thought hey, let's capture the little buggers while they attack. After taking around a hundred shots I had 2 I thought were good enough to keep!!!
Thank God for digital Cameras.
Gas masks displayed in the WW1 exhibition, Australian War Memorial, Canberra, ACT.
The Australian Imperial Force experienced gas attacks in most actions on the Western Front.
Gas bombardment of a wood at Messines led to 1,374 casualties, of which 310 were fatal.
Gas masks saved lives but also caused fatalities. They were extremely uncomfortable and hampered the movement of the men, inducing fatigue, disorientation and confusion.

We all have the same journey, existing and dying. Nature doing it, we don't need to do the killing-job of the nature for each other. Our enemies are sicknesses.
