Ken Small of SSA Architecture explains Master Planning. We can help you figure out if the use that you want for your project is going to work. We can help your project attain the use permits needed and the zoning changes needed. A preliminary investigation prior to a client committing to a contract often makes the difference between financial success and failure of a project financially. We can show you how to make that work in your favor.

Old meets new. A triumph of architecture - the Great Hall at the British Museum commands and inspires. Perhaps not on the scale of Moscow (nor at equal cost), but Britain NEEDS more investment into its public architecture. Master architect IM Pei (ref the Louvre pyramids and the Bank of China building, Hong Kong) renounced England for its flagrant disrespect of its landmarks - citing hemming in St Pauls Cathedral as its foremost crime. Interesting then that the design of the soaring glass roof more than nods towards said glass pyramids.

On their derives, the Situationists played an outworldly approach to a new place and gained a whole new perspective of it. Approaching this location on a derive was a new experience, one that every visitor to the museum should have. Based on the existing grid of Schiphol Airport this museum for art and light is designed at detail level. Pits and cut roofs play and trigger interests, oblique walls grab and attract wanderers in transit and enclose exhibition spaces.
It's one of the most imposing buildings of the world. The Reichstag building in Berlin. Especially the dome, a architectural master stroke and a perfect photo motif.

...but I'm less than excited about pony packs of mixed impatiens. The former developer and owner of La Arcada, Hugh Peterson, was a wonderful, philanthropic man, but if we'd ever sat down over a couple of beers, I think I'd loosen up enough to blow off some steam about the cute squirrels and other kitsch pieces scattered through this architectural master piece.
