A beautiful derelict castle lying on the Wardija hilltop in Malta
I only happened to notice this place while driving and it's gate caught my attention. I thought twice about getting out of my car and venture into the gardens...first of all because it's a really spooky place, and secondly was afraid of trespassing. I managed to get as far as the second gate...would love to go inside one day - but def not alone :) Nobody seems to live in it.
Does anyone have more info about this place?

Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate is a four-acre estate home and gardens set on the shores of Lake Ontario in downtown Oakville. The Museum preserves and interprets the town’s history through the heritage and home of Oakville’s founding family, the Chisholms. The Town of Oakville owes its existence to the vision of Colonel William Chisholm (1788-1842), an enterprising merchant and shipbuilder. In 1827, he bought 960 acres of land from the Crown at the mouth of the Sixteen Mile Creek on Lake Ontario to establish a port, shipbuilding yard and the village of Oakville.
I never tire of the Rama VIII bridge! Like the ANZAC bridge in Sydney, it is an elegant cable-stayed structure that is photogenic from just about any angle.

Taken in 2000 while my internship at an architectural firm in Iowa. I (think) I was using an Olympus camera at that time. Film is a Kodak slide film.
