"Casa Loma (Spanish for Hill House) is a Gothic Revival style house and gardens in midtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that is now a museum and landmark. It was built as a residence for financier Sir Henry Mill Pellatt. Casa Loma was constructed from 1911 to 1914. The architect was E. J. Lennox, who designed several other city landmarks. Casa Loma sits at an altitude of 140 m."- Wikipedia
Puig i Cadalfach's building is also known as the Casa de les Punxes (House of the Spikes), because of its sharply pointed gables and towers. Built between 1903 and 1905, its clearly Modernist style is most evident in the floral sculptures on the façade, the use of red brick and in some of its Central European Gothic features. It was completely renovated at the end of the 1980s, but remains closed to public at present.

This is the municipal art Gallery of Cagliari. There was a photographic exhibition of the German photographer August Sander who visited Sardinia in 1926 - very interesting - the light was good so I tried my chance with it! (:-)
Photo of the week 36
A friend and I had decided to go for a walk, and I (stupidly) decided I didn't want to carry my camera on our walk.
We walked out to an area of my town I hadn't explored much yet. On our way back we saw a very bright, beautiful rainbow. We hurried back and I grabbed my camera then we went to find a good angle to take some photos of it.
This one was my favorite. I did play with a few things in GIMP, because I'm trying to learn.
What would you have done differently?
