The taskmaster was a heavy duty towing tractor that was used for mainly towing aircraft. Built up using a David Brown tractor skid unit. Initially designed for use on military airfields during WW11 and later on civillian airports. Some were fitted with winches for recovery purposes. Later versions were built by the Douglas Company which is near Bristol but this company stopped using D.B. skid units in 1974. They still build these type of 'movers' for various aplications. There was one variant of the Taskmaster in the 1950's that was fitted with a front mounted belt pulley unit that was used for powering threshing machines and was called a 'Thresherman'. The Taskmasters inception came about from the close relasionship thad Sir David Brown had with the then War Minister, Lord Beaverbrook. They were very close freinds and Beaverbrook asked Brown if he could come up with a design of a heavy towing tractor for the purpose of towing and recovering aircraft. Brown being very clever came up with a design based around the agricultural tractor and Beaverbrook aproved it. The rest, as they say, is history. If I've missed anything out others will add it I'm sure.

3663 - 3674 AEC Swift, MP2R. MCW B37D+30 body. bult 1967.
One of a number of single deckers test the AEC was choosen mainly becuse AEC could meet the delivery date and the Bristol RELL6G did not have track recorded with Municipal fleets. Desiged as a Standee bus it was not liked by the general public. like other fleet its AH505 did have a few problems in this aplication especialy rear end crank failures, these heavyweight chassis only gave 10 years service.
3671 waits at the Albert Road end of the 36 route before picking up its first ever passenger having run empty from Acocks Green Garage.
Komplet ślubny: kolczyki, naszyjnik, aplikacja na suknię ślubną/ Bridal soutache set: earrings, necklace and wedding dress aplication.
This is my traveler bass. It is a headleass design with a very tiny body, and it's a little shorter than a regular bass. Ia has a piezo bridge pickup, and builtin active amplifer with 2-band EQ and headphone mode, so that headphones can be connected directly to the bass itself.
For this shot I put the bass flat on the floor, set up my speedlite as a slaveunit, and pointed it up in the (white) ceiling, controling it with the builtin flash of my new 7d.
As I'm looking for a better RAW/DAM aplication, I developed the rawfiles for these shots in DPP (as usual), ACDSee pro 4 beta, and Bibble 5, to see which ones gave the best results. These are the results from bibble, and the ones I liked the most. Also I like the fact that it runs on linux. Does anyone have any good suggestions I need to try?

Note:
Lane County Gypsy Moth Eradication Program (mid-1980s):
The Oregon Department of Agriculture is the lead agency for the gypsy moth detection program in Oregon. Agencies involved in the eradication program included the Oregon Department of Agriculture, USDA APHIS, USDA Forest Service, Oregon Department of Forestry, and private timber companies.
Three gypsy moths were initially detected in 1982 in the town of Lowell in west-central Oregon. These moths were caught in pheromone-baited traps during surveys conducted annually by the Oregon Department of Agriculture. In 1983, four more moths were caught in Lowell. After the trapping program was intensified in 1984, over 19,000 moths were caught in or near Lowell.
In the late spring of 1985, 226,045 acres were treated with Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki. Later that fall, the intensive trapping program identified additional infested areas in the same general area. Followup treatments with Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki were applied in 1986 (189,011 acres), 1987 (7,235 acres), and 1988 (2,995 acres). In addition to the aerial application of biological insecticides, State and federal quarantines were established in 1985 covering ~1,200 square miles to prevent people from moving gypsy moths out of the infested area. No further treatments were required after 1988. The total cost of the Lane County eradication program (including detection, eradication, and trapping) from 1984 to 1989 was about $18,000,000.
