Here i have shownthe effects of the colours mixed with gum arabic. I started by mixing one third arabic one third water one third paint then started with cobalt turquoise and the laying every other colour over the top of the first and so on all mixed with the solution, you can see the underlying colours and not only that some of these colours are opaque or semi opaque so it increases transparency in the colours,i have done the same thing with the use of the yellow and red combinations. I have included on the page Very quick studies with the use of arabic as here are just two subjects where it can be used, in part two I will actually show aplication from start to finish and more studies.( Best Viewed Large )

I have made two sweet baby buttons. I used Lisa Pavelka texture stamps and sutton slice tehnick.
You can use it as an accesories. They would be perfect for your baby sweater or jacket or hat. You can sew them on baby blanket for baby shower or use it as aplication for gift cards

Cappuccino framework & Objective-J language
I had a peek at the Cappuccino source yesterday of an Objective-J app using Cappuccino. It's an impressive piece of engineering. There is a new framework with a new language based on GNUstep. It is Open Sourced. You can download it, play with it. Hack code. And probably the best thing about it is, you can use it to build applications now.
Not next week or year. Right now!
Desktop Developers, developers, developers ...
From a developer perspective you can see the allure of learning just having to learn a new language. Everything is abstracted, HTML, CSS, even the individual browser Document Object Model or DOM. To create an application you can implement some specification you are given. Using the predefined controls (just like the desktop model) with the aid of a layout diagram. Bingo, an instant application that works on the Web. This work flow is the way a lot of desktop GUI based applications have been developed in the past and the present. Think Windows & Mac even Gtk. So for desktop developers having to brave the unknown & to learn more about the vagaries of things like DOM variation in browsers, HTTP and users on the Web using technologies like Cappuccino is a nice neat solution to a lot of hairy problems. Project managers also love it because if it is just one language (Objective-J) they can break it down into bits, farm it out to the cheapest source of coders. Get things done in a known amount of time.
Against the grain of the Web?
Then I read this article, "Cappuccino’s FlickrDemo in 45 lines of jQuery" and see a demonstration remarkably like the 280 flickr demo and think, why? The promise of "one size fits all" development model is working against the grain of the Web. How is this against the Web? Well for starters the basics of developing a Cappuccino application is bound up in a combination of predefined Web based controls and code. While there is separation of presentation and logic only software developers have a say. As a group Software developers left to their own devices are horrible in designing GUI applications without the help of others. You also loose the layering of technologies. The ability to upgrade, change or remove one layer of technology as you see fit. The developers of course have done this on purpose. Traded flexibility for simplicity. They have reduced the complexity of designing desktop like applications and distilled it back to code and controls. Good for building applications on time, budget. Bad for users.
Comparisons
You can see a side by side comparison of JQuery demo remarkably like the 280 flickr demo. Having said all this, Cappuccino is designed specifically for desktop applications to be delivered to users across the web. But loosing the advantages of well designed Web-Apps for this style of development (mono language & gui) is not a compelling enough reason to abandon current development practices.

Super fast, super finned (for control), and underarmed, at least that's what it looks like at first glance. In the past I have stayed away form cockpit boxes because my belief was to get a different looking ship you start by doing something different. Then I realized that a cockpit box would be something different for me to try - seeing as I avoided them. So I dug up a version of one on pasukaru76's photostream and proceeded to try it out. Now I can see more potential with it - it can lead to a more modular design that can still achieve a variety of shapes. So here is a small chubby one based off that design. (Start small I told myself.) I'm no expert with it, but I think I'll try to use it a couple more times at least.
CURVALICIOUS is a fair for all those lovers of mesh bodies, Those that allow to have a unique shape creating our own fashion.

Wenda Gu was born in Shanghai, China in 1955. He graduated from Shanghai School of Arts in 1976. In 1981 he received his M.F.A. from China Academy of Arts where he studied under the classical landscape painting master Lu Yanshao and where he taught from 1981 to 1987.
Wenda Gu moved to the USA in 1987. He was an associate professor of Studio Art at the University of Minnesota from 1989 to 1990 and received the title of Honorary Minnesotan from the Governor of Minnesota. He has been invited to lecture at various art academies, universities and institutions worldwide. He is a guest artist and adjunct faculty member of Cooper Union in New York. He was a panel member of the International Artists Residence of PS1 Museum in New York in 1995, a panel member of the Student Scholarship Committee of the Chicago Art Institute in 1998, and a jurist for the Macao Arts Festival for the aplication of United Nations World Heritage. in 2003. Gu was a candidate for an honorary doctorate from the Maine College of Art in 2001.
