I'll make sure to take a better photo of this before I ship it.

The next few weeks are going to be uber-busy with trips for open days at the Universities my youngest, Phoebe, wants to go to. At last she has made her choice of the course she will be studying, Veterinary Medicine or Vet-Med. She will be completing the M.S.A.A exam to allow aplication to Cambridge but our first visit was to Glasgow University, a great day. In a couple of weeks time a trip to York, Bristol and Cambridge, then during the summer break The Royal London School of Veterniary Medicine, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Nottigham. Competition is tough but I strongly believe with Phoebes academic attainments and experiences with animal management she will be well placed to move forward as a Vet, can't wait as I will be accompanying her with all her visits. But we have already learnt a lesson, don't try and do a University visit in one day, up at 01.30am in the morning to fly up to Glasgow and returned at 02.00am this morning from Gatwick.......goodnight!

Fatal Seduction is back and we're looking for male bloggers.

Please read all the rules.

If selected we will contact you

32934 (W934ULL) is one of many former First London Dennis Tridents cascaded into provincial fleets. Glasgow's seem to be randomly converted to single door, or left as built. This particular bus retains its door, but the livery aplication over the glass suggests it is not actually used.

Would you like to be a blogger for Cerridwen's Cauldron original creations? Fill out the application form here:

I looked through the wall with my thermal scanner and sawdust guys. the were unloading of with boxes of guns to ship out to the mob. I got my sonic cannon out, and turned it to the highest setting, and fired it strait at the wall. The wall broke, pieces of it showering the ground, and nocking one guy on his ass. Ha. I swept my beam around, nocking everyone out. After they were all out cold, I gathered all the boxes into a pile and blow them to hell.

Blogger application open until August 31st.

Super fast, super finned (for control), and underarmed, at least that's what it looks like at first glance. Hidden beneath the tri-thrusters lies some of the lastest shield hacking systems that allow this pest to weaken shields for a short time and pass through most larger ships protection fields. This is where it can do it's dirty work. Know as a haul ripper, this ship relies on a single titanium-diamond hyper-alloyed knife blade to get the job done. A single strategic close-quarter fly by is all that is needed. Once a hole is opened within the haul the fate of the vessel is sealed. Rarley used in military aplications anymore due to advances in military shielding, this fighter is most often used by space pirates for robbing container ships.

In the past I have stayed away form cockpit boxes because my belief was to get a different looking ship you start by doing something different. Then I realized that a cockpit box would be something different for me to try - seeing as I avoided them. So I dug up a version of one on pasukaru76's photostream and proceeded to try it out. Now I can see more potential with it - it can lead to a more modular design that can still achieve a variety of shapes. So here is a small chubby one based off that design. (Start small I told myself.) I'm no expert with it, but I think I'll try to use it a couple more times at least.

The "Hard-Hat".

In the early years of the ship building industry, workers covered their hats with pitch (tar), and set them in the sun to cure, a common practice for dock workers in constant danger of being hit on the head by objects dropped from ship decks.

Management professor Peter Drucker credited writer Franz Kafka with developing the first civilian hard hat while employed at the Worker's Accident Insurance Institute for the Kingdom of Bohemia (1912), but this information is not supported by any document from his employer.

In the United States, the E.D. Bullard Company was a mining equipment firm in California created by Edward Dickinson Bullard in 1898, a veteran of the industrial safety business for 20 years. The company sold protective hats made of leather. His son, E. W. Bullard, returned home from World War I with a steel helmet that provided him with ideas to improve industrial safety. In 1919 Bullard patented a "hard-boiled hat" made of steamed canvas, glue and black paint. That same year, the U.S. Navy commissioned Bullard to create a shipyard protective cap that began the widespread use of hard hats. Not long after, Bullard developed an internal suspension to provide a more effective hat. These early designs bore a resemblance to the military M1917 "Brodie" helmet that served as their inspiration.

In the 1930's hard hats were mainly made of steel and were a requirement for such projects as the Hoover dam and the golden gate bridge. Aluminium replaced steel as the material of choice in about 1938 (except for electrical aplications where plastic was the norm (Bakelite was new back then).

Fiberglass came into use in the 1940s and Thermoplastics took over in the 1950s.

In 1997 ANSI allowed the development of a ventilated hard hat to keep wearers cooler. Accessories such as face shields, sun visors, earmuffs, and perspiration-absorbing lining cloths could also be used; today, attachments include radios, walkie-talkies, pagers, and cameras.

Another milestone was reached in 2013 with production of the MSA V-Gard GREEN Helmet, the first industrial safety product produced from nearly 100 percent renewable resources. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) construction sourced entirely from sugarcane ethanol is recyclable, reducing the carbon footprint associated with this product type.

Here is a photo I call a funny photo of someone who just got herself an I-pad and is showing it. She was walking on the beach with her arm up in the air. I seen her coming from the resort on the left of us and walked three resorts past ours like that on the beach. Funny or stupid or weird I do not know but it does look kind of funny or stupid. It is an aplication of modern technology to its maximum I would say. EXPLORE #488, APR-26, 2012

Flock hair restored. It was the only shade of blonde I found in a old store in the city center. I wonder if I have to add a second aplication?

The Bristol 188 is a British supersonic research aircraft built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company. Built mainly of stainless steel, this aircraft was designed to investigate the effects of heat on aircraft structures at very high speed. To protect the pilot against heat build up a special cockpit refrigeration

system was developed .

Nicknamed the Flying Pencil only two Bristol 188s ever flew a third being used for ground testing. The data collected could be relayed to the ground in real time, and was essential for the developement of the proposed Avro 730 high speed, high altitude, reconnaissance aircraft. The first SR 188 made its maiden flight on 14th April 1962 before its public debut at the September Farnborough Airshow

Both aircraft were powered by the new de Havilland Gyro Junior engine, the first British engine designed for sustained supersonicspeeds and data gained with this aplication was later applied to the Olypus engines used in Concorde

Although a maximum speed of Mach 1.88 was achieved it fell short of the target Mach 2, that along with fuel leaks, limited sustained endurance and the cancellation of the Avro730 led to the cancellation of the Bristol 188.in 1964

Many thanks for a fantabulous

Slightly different angle then the last pic no cockpit glare, but I like it less the color does not seem as dramatic.

My second for Walkables challenge.

I'm trying to channel Dethklaus again but with my own concepts.

Notes will show haw the Masterkey works.

This is a Bullpup Revolving Rifle. The Revolving function isn't acually a cylinder but a ring of interlinked chains. This allows for the loaded link to be isolated and for the round to be fired with less loss of power than in a normal revolver. the links don't disintergrate as in a LMG so as to keep its revolver status. The chain can be relocated to the right side of the gun for ambidextrous operation. Top is a DMR version sans Bipod. It has an eight roud chain as opposed to the bottom which has a 6 round chain. The scope utalises Electronic Enhancement for clearer targeting. I do realise this sort of mechanism would be rather delicate, I simply made it for the concept and not the realworld aplication. Cred to Walkableink for the stock.
