In the car show at the 2016 Meltdown Drags, Byron, Illinois. Lowered but still full fendered, and showing old primer in worn areas on the satin finish black paint. I have no idea what the engine is. The one really unusual thing I see on this one is the seemingly seamless hood and top section of the radiator shell.

Deserted and desolate, only the pallets remain.

Hurrah! The fifth and final picture for the Curse of the Consecutive Colourless Challenge. Phew! I know some people thrive on this sort of thing but for me it was a bit too much like work, which is the very thing i use photography to escape from.

If this has done anything it's reminded me of why i am a clueless snapper and not a proper photographer - i take pictures of whatever i fancy for fun, for the sheer joy of doing it, not because i have to. Freerange freedom photographic fun. And if anyone else happens to like it, so much the better, and if they don't, well i'm sure they can find something else to look at.

-7 years or so before I realised what whas up. For comparison mostly!

I have such a crush on the guy on the left. He dressed as Wolverine one Halloween. Love the outfits.

This nice pike was caught by Vladimir Krakauskas on a recent trip to Latvia. We're pretty sure Vladimir was using G. Loomis gear!

A windows in the church of St John The Baptist in Royston. Some of the glass is green and outside is an area of grass

In my backyard again, Baltimore, Baltimore West Quad

Another shot of the Point Betsie Lighthouse near Frankfort MI. This was a 10 minute exposure taken pretty close to midnight. The red light on the inside of the building was very faint, but over time made a great menacing glow.

Always nice to get a wave - they also like to get one back ;-)

Is Lt Cdr Bowyer a Navy pilot?

As someone who has spent his adult life in a modest apartment, I have no idea what people do with this amount of space.

Another room in Aladdins Cave

Another colorful bird at the rookery. The pic below is from Sienna's first trip down to the beach. I have a ton of photos to upload when I get home.

more cakes for the cakes god

I found another Anna deep inside her , good luck to your choice!!!

From my evening walk today...

According to the AP last year, "An international series of protests known as SlutWalks, sparked by a Toronto police officer's flippant comment that women should avoid dressing like "sluts" to avoid being raped or victimized, is taking root in the United States. "

Another gift for all flickrs from scout LOL

And here's the last photo from my trip, another view of the Osprey...

From my one and only roll of film shot with a Holga.

Interesting front of this old TATA bus from CWA. Of course modified by Sangola depot.

This time its a different one. Although it looks similar to the one I shot about two weeks ago the color is yellow and the patterns are different.

Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens

Another Dublin office building is prepared for demolition. This one is on Tara Street.

Day 48 Year 2.5

Last year I did my first clone.

Another set of Orchid pics from Mondays visit to Denge Wood.

Te first on the left is a Twayblade the middle is a Pyramidal Orchid, the third I think is a pale Common Spotted Orchid along with the bottom

This was taken last spring from Steptoe Butte of the beautiful Palouse Hills in Washington. I decided to try the tone mapping in PS CS5. It did a pretty darned nice job.

This latte went to a lady who later came up for a macchiato. That's a great feeling.

Another view of the operating room. The scene was so violent and the smell of organs and blood so strong that we had a few visitors vomit.

Another trip to the doctor with my mom allowed me to finish this. I also had some help with some of the ideas behind the designs. My mom thought there looked like elephant feet here so we added a trunk and a spray of water. Nothing like making the time pass with by tangling!

This is another shot from the Smith family portrait session. After doing the selective color, I maxed out the contrast slider on the b&w portion of the photo to get this effect.
