Note that, as I have said before, I have obeyed the instruction at the bottom (though apparently I did have a rebellious streak even back then and

A New One Just Begun
Love to start the new year off with a John Lennon quote! The holidays have been wonderful for us. Unfortunately I have to go to work tomorrow. I usually have a couple of days after New Year's to relax, but school started late this year, so back I go! Hoping to start the new year off right flickr-wise! We'll see. My computer is bogged down and I have not been good about shifting my photos to my external hard drive. That's my Flickr resolution for the year!

That's about all I'm seeing around here now. Well those and the darn red wasps. I HAVE to find out where those are coming from and murder them before I wind up in the hospital or something.... No more big butterflies though, at least not for the last few days.
I still like the pure black background best.

Another Christmas Song - Jethro Tull:
Hope everybody's ringing on their own bell, this fine morning.
Hope everyone's connected to that long distance phone.
Old man, he's a mountain.
Old man, he's an island.
Old man, he's a-waking says
"I'm going to call, call all my children home."
Hope everybody's dancing to their own drum this fine morning ---
the beat of distant Africa or a Polish factory town.
Old man, he's calling for his supper.
He's calling for his whisky.
Calling for his sons and daughters, yeah ---
Calling, calling all his children round.
Sharp ears are tuned in to the drones and chanters warming.
Mist blowing round some headland, somewhere in your memory.
Everyone is from somewhere ---
even if you've never been there.
So take a minute to remember the part of you
that might be the old man calling me.
How many wars you're fighting out there, this Winter's morning?
Maybe it's always time for another Christmas song.
Old man he's asleep now.
He's got appointments to keep now.
Dreaming of his sons and daughters, and proving ---
proving that the blood is strong.
Another set of angry faces. Staring me down to finish the laundry. Just another take i think i like them having the bottles closer to each other.
Think this one was born in the backyard too, when it walked up the mom was still licking it all over.

I've had a lot on recently so not much time to pic up the camera. So he's a portrait I took of Yvonne Russel, the resident artist at Morden Hall Park.
Tough week, so I went for my Friday therapy session...I'm feeling much better now.
