Another go at this image. I revisited the "original" hdr and came out with this, after applying a red-blue channel swap and a custom tone curve.
This started as four images taken with a Canon A590 IS running CHDK, wearing a Hoya R72 infrared filter. The images were developed from DNGs into 16-bit tifs, then stacked and tonemapped in Photomatix. Topaz Adjust was used for a final exposure adjustment, then Topaz Denoise was used to clean up the result.

This is also one of many in my Uncle's back yard. The landscaping in that yard is insane. The colors are outstanding, then add in spring time and it's great.

These spectacular sculptures by Antony Gormley are on Crosby beach. Another Place consists of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the foreshore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea.
The Another Place figures - each one weighing 650 kilos - are made from casts of the artist's own body standing on the beach, all of them looking out to sea, staring at the horizon in silent expectation.

I know that the Ember line from Pink Fuel is not new, but... It's new to me. <3 I've long loved Pink Fuel skins (the lips really drew me in, they look so delightfully lickable) and for a while I had this idea that I couldn't wear them well. I've since changed my mind, and am doing what I can to remedy the lack of PF in my skin folder.
Oh, and those killer eyes? From Panda Express from a gacha. I've nearly collected the whole set at this point. :D

Anthony Gormley's 'Another Place' takes on a Oliver Hardy expression. Out of shot by the feet of the sculpture lies the Thermos Flask which had kindly donated this fetching miniature 'bowler hat'.

MR loco 1000 and LMS 5690 passes the NRM at York on 20-10-79 with a Charter from/to Leeds and Derby.
This is the same flower and set up as the post from two days ago...this one however has been focused stack in photoshop using 6 images to try and get the whole flower in focus by setting different focal points (tripod used).

Here's another butterfly, this time a white one that was sitting on a tiny purple flower. One of the prettiest I'e ever seen, though I know that there are probably more beautiful types somewhere in the world - the Brazilian rainforest for instance...
Another rainy Monday...
It's been a few days since an upload. I gave up on my 365. Reasons being a lack of time and, a lack of diligence, and a lack of effort. But mainly, it was just a lack of time. It was fun while it lasted though, and I did come up with some really creative ideas for future projects, so we shall see.
The rest of the week looks pretty busy, but I'm on spring break so it's also really chill. A friend is taking my senior pictures wednesday. And, I'm going to the beach Thursday with my boyfriend, best friend, and the best friend's boyfriend. I'm thrilled about that!

Another Alexander’s all-Leyland lowbridge Titan, but a pre-war Titan TD7. R266 shows that advertising slogans were as irritating then as it is now, if “King George IV old Scotch Whisky” was ‘the top notch of scotch’ or not, it’s now passed beyond living memory, however there is fully restored an Alexander’s Leyland Titan just like this one.
