And suddenly there we are on the bridge of the Enterprise! Tucked away at the far end of Wayne's chicken shack we find a state of the art analytical lab with every conceivable bit of test equipment for chemical identification. Wayne can analyze samples as small as a few molecules, determining their constituent parts and purity. Wayne's website is: consultingchemist.com/
Dr. Nora Reber toured us around her lab and showed us how she will process the lipid samples from the ceramics from the Lord Ashley site. This data will help us learn what foods these ceramics were used to store, cook, and eat in the past!
Here, Visualyse Professional shows four views of an analysis of the coverage from three mobile base stations somewhere south east of Transfinite's office .
Two map views give a quick insight into the whole scenario. The two other views let you see the situation at a selected and movable test point within the view. This is a strength of the software - big picture/local detail swapping is the basis of a lot of techniques for problem exploration and creative solution finding. I might blog about this at visualyse.blog.com
Disassembly of Picardy French Canadian wheel. The flyer whorl, shaft and bobbin appear to be reused from an older wheel. The shaft is bent and needs straightening. The flyer is newer. It shows very light wear. Hooks on one side only. The maidens have been rotated. Wheel once had leather bearings to hold flyer. Saw marks on wheel base and wheel rim are smoothed down, but do not eliminate the saw marks. The leather bearings in wheel uprights need replacement. Wheel shows heavy wear. Built very sturdily. Two ply handspun wool yarn leader below 4 ply commercial worsted on bobbin. The bobbin holder thing base is satin smooth from wear and fits the table hole perfectly. No tension adjustment for wheel band. Unless the missing bearings were used for that. Flyer must jam on. The whorl jams on.

I forgot to take a purposeful picture on Tuesday so you get this photo I took of my laptop screen to send to my friend Keith (aka Max in the photo). I was using the segment analysis feature in the web version of Strava to try figure out how Strava glitched and showed Keith a minute and 40 seconds ahead of me at the end of the 11+ minute trail section when in reality I was only 20 seconds behind him. The answer was at the starting hill where a technology glitch that I can’t figure out has him 1:20 ahead of me after just 180m of trail when I was in reality right on his back wheel the entire time. Even more odd, there’s another segment that includes that same part of the trail and it recorded correctly. Gremlins!
Pseudobarbus lineage diversity.(a) Maximum Likelihood analysis of phylogenetic relationships among mitochondrial cyt b haplotypes identified in Pseudobarbus from the south-western CFR. Bayesian posterior probabilities are given on the branches. The numbers (1?47) represent unique haplotypes and the colours represent unique lineages, corresponding to distribution maps in Figure S2 in Appendix S2. Distribution ranges of these lineages are presented in Figure S2 in Appendix S2. River systems in which the lineages occur are given in parentheses. (b) TCS network of cyt b haplotypes (1?47) from individuals of Pseudobarbus from the south-western CFR. The sizes of circles are proportional to haplotype frequency, and the colours indicate the river system (s) where the haplotype occurred. Black dots represent missing haplotypes in the network. Each branch represents one mutation step.
An analysis combining open and closed square twists in the same molecule. In this case, a closed square twists over 4 open back square twists (that overlap in their corners).
Several versions with different papers, grids and colours.
EH 32 division grid, yellow tant 48 division grid and Orange tant 64 division grid.
Sales call monitoring has become a new trend to increase sales by converting leads which were not followed up into a sale. A sales executive must remember that follow up calls are important to make the customer telephone experience pleasant. Modern day lead tracking services can monitor all sales calls taking place in your company. Read more at www.calls2account.com
It's decided that Gever should also try to fly the glider, to help determine what can be done to improve it (and the Tinkerers chances to actually take flight).
The track playing is, appropriately enough, Behind the Music by Amici.
The "Spectrograph" plugin converts the sound into a picture - time runs left to right, frequency runs bottom to top in a logarithmic basis.
06 November 2019, Accra —Zambian and Ghanaian delegates started the week by tackling the complex issues surrounding poverty and hunger, and highlighting innovative approaches in overcoming the challenges of the achievement of the first two of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event, organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and in partnership with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), is a five-day executive-level capacity development programme on ‘Strengthening the Use of Poverty Analysis to Achieve SDG 1 Poverty Eradication and SDG 2 Zero Hunger in Ghana and Zambia.’
