This is the cauliflower pannacotta with pickled cauliflower, a delicate and unmistakeably brassica flavour, full and rich yet light all at once. A remarkable little dish. My bouche was pretty damn amused, I can tell you.
22/365- Sunday Noon.
Today was church and then a braai of 30 people. We swam, eat good food in the sun and played ninja. I have a really terrible ear infection now, huge downside to all the swimming. It was a very South African day. Late afternoon was spent taking silly and amusing pictures on Steve's Mac and half watching How I Met Your Mother. Early bed me thinks. Tiring and lovely day.
