A village's landscape with beautiful clouds

It is bitterly cold here in Michigan. The lake is once again frozen over except for this small area (that also seems to have frozen over now).

Swans flew in while I was gone this morning. I went home quickly to grab a camera...and there they were!

From illegal sprayer to sought-after artist.

Christoph Jeroo Ganter is a teacher for sports and English - and one of the most famous graffiti sprayers in the world. The man from Stuttgart has been active as a graffiti artist in Stuttgart, Germany and all over the world for 25 years. During this time, the autodidact found his very own style, with which he in turn significantly influenced the graffiti scene, helped develop the so-called "Euro style" and earned a lot of international recognition.

Like hardly any other street artist, Jeroo has helped to shape public space in Stuttgart with his murals. He painted, among other things, the S-Bahn stations Nordbahnhof and Sommerrain, the Max-Eyth-Schule on Berliner Platz and bridge pillars of the B10 and B27 in Heslach and Fasanenhof.

In the meantime, the 39-year-old Stuttgart received design commissions from all over the world as well as invitations to international festivals and shows in the graffiti and urban art scene. Jeroo is also in demand as the author of the book “Graffiti School”, a worldwide standard work for learning about graffiti.

Concorde

Tupolew Tu-144

Junkers Ju 52/3 m

Douglas DC-3

Iljuschin Il-18

Vickers Viscount

Iljuschin Il-14

Canadair CL-215

Some of the larger planes can be walked on. After climbing through the passenger area (in which the interior has either been removed or covered with transparent plastic), the inspection ends in front of the cockpit, which is blocked off by a plexiglass pane.

View On Black

I know I haven't had time to respond to most of your comments on my last post as of yet, but I simply could not wait to post this. This as a tremendous thunder storm over the Sandia Mountains last afternoon late that I was able to capture that totally captured me! And I simply had to post it this morning.

You really should see it in large all so on black, and it is not necessary to comment as I don;t know when can respond as this is my last day before returning back to California.

And please no multi invites. I am so far behind now, I feel so guilty as it is. Just enjoy what I am posting and especially this as I feel it is an amazing capture of a huge storm such of which we do not get on the coast.

Thank each of you for your kindness abd comments and visits during my little adventure I have muti pictures to show you and I haven't even been to the Balloon Festival yet!

Thank you once again,

and Good Morning Lacey!

Daraus machen sie Humus, also nährstoffreiche Erde.

The cleaning crew of the forest

Fungi feed by decomposing dead plants and animals. Their skills are particularly important in the forest. Because only mushrooms can break down certain components of wood.

In this way, they clean the forest of dead wood and dead organisms. They use this to make humus. Without this, no new plants could grow in the forest.

Sooc :)!

Hey guys hope you're well. My anatomy exam is in two days and I'm happily procrastinating whilst eating copious amounts of cereal. Not too sure why I'm eating a lot of cereal but its sugary goodness yay but I think I can finish a whole box, pretty unhealthy but you know STRESS STRESS STRESSED. And you know how stressed is actually desserts spelt backwards? Yeah I'm not too sure what I'm trying to say here.............gonna blame this on the COLD I have.

Why do I even have a cold right before exams?

Gg body.

A popular hobby in the local latitudes is mushroom picking. In autumn in particular, many mushroom pickers go out again to bring the tasty mushrooms home. However, inexperienced collectors in particular do not know exactly which of the forest mushrooms are edible and which they should better stay away from. Because often the edible mushrooms have an inedible doppelganger.

Another amazing capture from ESA astronaut André Kuipers, from his vantage point on the ISS.

André travelled to the orbital outpost in December 2011, and will remain in orbit for more than 6 months as part of ESA's long duration mission, PromISSe.

It was a beautiful day in Alaska and clear, photo opportunity day, so we drove to Talkeetna to take a Beaver flight over the park and see it in all its glory. We topped out at 9700 feet, ceiling for the this Beaver flight so only half as high as the peak. The views today were amazing.

Captured with a Leica M11P and Voigtlander F1.2 50 mm Nokton.

those clouds! amazing. captured from my upstairs bedroom window.

Sometimes I learn amazing things on Flickr, having nothing to do with photography. for example, thanks to Gunnar Ries,

I now know that these clouds are probably Kelvin-Helmnoltz clouds!
