Try it on Tuesday: Alter it - Re vamp a Frame
This weeks challenge is making an altered frame.

I Re vamped an IKEA framed mirror.
I started by carefully cutting the glue away around the mirror (in the back) and removing it from the frame, setting it aside so it wouldn't get messy or damaged.
I then 'wallpapered' the frame with textured and flocked patterned paper (unsure of brand, stash grab).
Blingage is Prima (cut apart).
All the Collage elements were 1st fussy cut, then coated in 3D Crystal Lacquer, as was the quote strip.
Finishing by reattaching the mirror to the frame.

Altered Dominos - color is washed out on some of the brightest . especially hot pink, bright greens and yellows and oranges.
Wir hatten uns den angeblich wärmsten Tag ausgesucht um diesen Friedhof an der Liesenstrasse auf dem das alte Domkreuz errichtet wurde zu besuchen und mussten dann feststellen, durch Bäume und die Umgebung hielten sich die Temperaturen im Rahmen - die Hitze war zu ertragen.
I think I'm the last person on the planet to get this figure - Figma 515 Alter Ego/Okita Souji (Alter).
I think she was supposed to ship at Christmas but even the all mighty Goodsmile Company ended up having delays on their stuff due to COVID, and so here we are, June 2022.
Oh well, such is life.
Aesthetically, things are pretty much what you'd expect from a Figma, though I have to say the paint apps on the scabbard seem a bit on the lower end of acceptable for a Figma product.
Face plates seem a bit off compared to official art work, especially since she doesn't look like she's not slept in about a year.
Articulation wise, not bad. They took a few steps to minimize how her looks affected her posing powers. Hair has extra points of articulation, as well as her skirt. Waist and hips feature some new tricks, which combined with a softer skirt material, do allow for some decent dynamic posing. Her feet, however, will result in you basically having her anchored to the stand at all times.

His hard work is shown in the videos, while his photos are testimonies to the end result, his personal paradise. His work points towards the absurdity of human longing, the impossibility to achieve this goal, and a key component of Finnish identity: the escape from culture into the arms of wilderness.

The choir, Ripon Cathedral. The oldest bits of the building, part of the Diocese of Leeds, date from the seventh century.
When I arrived at the church I could see that someone was in there. There was a car parked outside and there were lights on inside. While I photographed the exterior a man stepped outside the church, and, thinking he was alone, I startled him.
He told me that he was studying the church as part of an exercise to properly record the fabric, history & property of all the churches in England. I don't think he's doing the whole project by himself lol.
He invited me inside to take photographs and while I worked he rattled off a brief history of the place and gave me a mini-tour. A very nice guy and obviously passionate about the subject.
I didn't want to outstay my welcome so I had to make some quick decisions about how best to photograph the interior of a dark building without a tripod etc. Fortunately I had my best lens for the job on the camera.
The unedited shots where pretty awful so I was very glad that I'd shot them in RAW mode.
January is a month when dull repetative tasks are done.
I made an altered book for my Marches Book Art Group class by tearing pages out of an old book and folding and stitching them together.
This shows the completed piece in situ.

I joined a swap on swapbot where you had to alter an item including a key.
I bought this sweetie tin for 99p and altered in it a style I hoped my partner would like!!
This is the front of the tin, covered with acrylic paint, collage image, clock cog, and two keys with ribbon. Covered with two layers of diamond glaze to seal it and hold everything in place!

Der Alte Friedhof in Neuburg, einem Stadtteil von Freiburg im Breisgau, ist ein 2,65 ha großer stillgelegter Friedhof mit parkartigem Charakter und einer der ältesten noch in seiner Gesamtheit erhaltenen Friedhöfe in Deutschland. Er befindet sich in der Nähe der Ludwigskirche, wird aber meistens fälschlicherweise Herdern zugeordnet. Es sind ungefähr 1200 Grabmale vorhanden, von denen etwa die Hälfte erhaltenswert sind. Um die Erhaltung und Pflege kümmert sich ein Förderverein.[1] Der Friedhof ist vom Denkmalschutz als Kultur- und Naturdenkmal[2] eingestuft und ein Zeugnis von Totenkult, Stadtgeschichte und Stilepochen des 17. und 18.
