Der Ortskern des Berliner Ortsteils Lübars mit dem Dorfanger steht unter Denkmalschutz. strayed from my original idea a little, but whether or not that's a bad thing has yet to be decided.. these are for a private kawaii matchbox drawers swap on swap-bot..
*ponder*
i dunno.. they're cute and all, but i think i may have underplayed the 'kawaii' factor on them and sorta made them a bit boring.. i'm in love with brown kraft paper atm, and factoring it into almost everything i make, but even tho i love the paper itself i can't help but think it doesn't really work with kawaii themes at all ;_;
it's sad, cos i love the look of the paper so much, but this design probably would have looked much better with a nice colorful base, like a bright green or orange instead of the brown.. dammit, i might have to take up country style themes if i wanna continue my affair with the rolls of kraft paper i have left *sigh*
another "leftover" image from a transfer, I messed with the curves in PhotoShop, I love how transparent it looks.

Affectionately known as Alte Peter (Old Peter), St. Peter's Church is the oldest in the city of Munich. Built in 1180, the church has had a turbulent and interesting past but is still a favorite tourist attraction and is fondly admired by locals as well.
Built on the same site where 8th century monks had established a monastery, Peterskirche was designed in the Romanesque style. The monks had called this area Peterbergl, or Peter's Hill, so a similar name was given to the church. The same monks also gave the city its current name, as München is derived from Mönch, the German word for monk.

the leaves on the left, the little mushroom and the brown and white paper bottom right are all my hand carved stamps.
This was my first alteration of Jay Dee's sketchbook as part of the 'altered book mail' project. I cut all the letters out of different random bits of domestic papers (bus tickets, the phone book, alfoil, junk mail...) to spell out my first suggestion for Jay Dee's metaphorical inspiration jar: 'Use everyday materials in unexpected ways...'.
