My first altered Altoid tin made for the Wicked Circus Altered Altoid Tin Swap on craftster.org. The exterior is mostly painted polymer clay, the trailer is balsa wood.
Einer meiner Lieblingsbäume in meiner Nähe ist diese alte Eiche. Sie steht ganz nah zum ehemaligen Standort von Haus Heyde, einem Rittergut, das in den 1960´er Jahren leider komplett geschleift wurde. Nur die alten Baumriesen im ehemaligen Park und im nahen Umfeld zeugen noch von einem Ort mit viel Geschichte.
The wonderful crafty_dame sent me lots of fantastic papers in the mail, so I've been experimenting with using only collage on my spreads. The postcard in the centre is a page by itself. I love the way the red head peaks over the top!
The Old Elbe Tunnel was completed in 1911. The tunnel is 426m long and runs 24 m beneath the Elbe river.
The tunnel was built to help thousands of workers cross the river to get to and fro from work.
The tunnel walls are decorated with glazed terra cotta ornaments displaying items related to the Elbe river. While mostly fish or crabs, a few show different items like waste and rats, too.

Den Zweiten Weltkrieg überstand der historische Stadtkern Alter Flecken Freudenberg ohne größere Zerstörungen. Somit ist der Alte Flecken Freudenberg eines der wenigen Beispiele einer planmäßig realisierten und einheitlich in Fachwerk errichteten Stadt des 17. Jahrhunderts, die sich bis in unsere Zeit in ihrer originalen Bausubstanz erhalten hat.

The Second World War was the historical core age spots Freudenberg without major damage. Thus, the Old stains Freudenberg is one of the few examples of a planned and implemented uniformly built in half-timbered houses of the 17th century, which has survived to the present day in its original structure.

Frauen, die wegen ihrer ethnischen Herkunft, ihrer sexuellen Orientierung, ihrer Religion oder Weltanschauung, einer Behinderung, ihres Alters oder ihres Geschlechts diskriminiert wurden, wird hier gedacht..
Zwei soganannte "Originale"waren: Zitronenjette und Vogeljette.
Henriette Johanne Marie Müller, besser bekannt als Zitronenjette (1841- 1916 ) . In ihrer geistigen und körperlichen Entwicklung zurückgeblieben, wurde Henriette Müller nur 1,32 Meter groß und wog als erwachsene Frau knapp 35 Kilogramm.Zum Lebensunterhalt verkaufte sie mit dem Ausruf Zitroon! Zitroon! tagsüber Zitronen in Hamburg. Nachts sah man sie in den Kneipen St. Paulis.1894 wurde sie in die Irrenanstalt eingeliefert, wo sie bis zu ihrem Tod lebte. Da sie jedoch nicht geistesgestört war, beschäftigte man sie dort mit verschiedenen Küchenarbeiten.
Lydia Adelheid Hellenbrecht (1844-1920)genannt: Vogeljette
Ihr Mann starb 1883 an der Cholera. Seitdem zog sie mit einem Korb voller Brotwürfel in der einen Hand und einem kleinen Emailleeimer in der anderen durch die Straßen des Hamburger Stadtteils St. Georg, um die angefeuchteten Brotstücke an die Vögel, insbesondere Spatzen, zu verfüttern.Dieses Verhalten führte dazu, dass man sie kurzerhand für verrückt erklärte.

The spiral of memory in the "Garden of Women" in the Ohlsdorf Cemetery is intended to keep alive the memory of those women whose grave sites have not survived or who did not have their own grave sites. Women who have been discriminated because of their ethnic origin, sexual orientation, religion or belief, disability, age or gender are being commemorated here.
Two so-called "originals" were: Lemon jette and Bird jette.
Henriette Johanne Marie Müller, better known as Lemon Jette (1841-1916). With her mental and physical development lagging behind, Henriette Müller was only 1.32 meters tall and weighed just under 35 kilograms as an adult. She sold lemons in Hamburg during the day and called:" Zitroon"! . At night she was seen in St. Pauli's pubs. In 1894 she was taken to the asylum where she lived until her death. However, since she was not mentally disturbed, she was engaged in various kitchen work.

Her husband died of cholera in 1883. Since then, she has been walking through the streets of Hamburg's St. Georg district with a basket of bread cubes in one hand and a small enamel bucket in the other to feed the moistened pieces of bread to the birds, especially sparrows she quickly declared crazy.
On 31 December and 13 January, «Old New Year's Eve», the «Chläuse» make their way around the Appenzell hinterland. The origin and meaning of this ancient custom are the subject of speculation, because few written documents exist.

A dedication to the Autumn that wasn't on the east coast of Australia. Much warmer temperatures this year meant we didn't get the blaze of colour in the Blue Mountains that so many photographers like to capture. This is an altered image done in Ps, taken outside Breenhold Gardens in Mt Wilson.
Nikon D800 & Nikkor 14-24mm. PP in PS CC using Raya Pro, Nik Software and luminosity masks.
So, still on the trip of posting stuff I've been meaning to post for a while. I'm enjoying it I must say. Clearing the decks so to speak, at least a little, whilst I slowly march my way through a whole heap of editing and sorting. Egads those photo things can get out of control if one isn't careful!
