The alignment of the four planets happens only once every 50-100 years, and very rarely on Friday the 13th. The last time these planets were observed together was in October 1910. The alignment will be visible each morning just before sunrise at least for a week.

For greater accuracy when aligning a vice use a dial gauge indicator.
Use the steel pin method first, then tighten the holding bolt where the dial gauge is set up, but only slightly, so that when you tap the vice it will swivel rather than move parallel.
Set the dial gauge to zero, travers the width of the vice jaw, and tap the vice lightly to zero the dial gauge, travers back, repeat until the vice is aligned, align the fixed jaw of the vice. Check again after you have tightened the vice bolts. Video here:

On March 11, 1938, the popular actor Paul Hörbiger welcomes guests in his Berlin house: the comedian Theo Lingen, the operetta film star Willi Forst and the director E. W. Emo, who four years later turn the film Vienna 1910 - a transfiguration of the anti-Semitic Viennese mayor Karl Lueger as a Hitler precursor. It's going to be a dramatic evening. Hörbiger in his memoirs I've played for you: "Toward evening we heard via the banned Austrian station the speech of the resigning Chancellor, Dr. Kurt von Schuschnigg. ... hours later, Hitler's German troops illegally marched into Austria. "Hörbiger is wrong in one point: listening to foreign broadcasters is only later forbidden.
Truth and legend often mingle when it comes to memories of the Nazi era. This also applies to the arts and culture: after 1945, many Austrian poets, actors and musicians have presented themselves as anti-fascists and resisters. Others were convicted as Nazi collaborators - burdened by witnesses who had themselves cooperated with the Nazis. Because today important documents are no longer visible, it is easy to transfigure your own biography in retrospect. One thing is clear, however, given the existing documents: a large part of the Viennese art scene has euphorically applauded the Anschluss.

Hörbiger in seinen Erinnerungen Ich hab für euch gespielt : »Gegen Abend hörten wir über den verbotenen österreichischen Sender die Rede des demissionierenden Bundeskanzler Dr. Kurt von Schuschnigg. … Stunden später marschierten Hitlers deutsche Truppen widerrechtlich in Österreich ein.« Nur in einem Punkt irrt Hörbiger: Das Hören ausländischer Sender wird erst später verboten.

Nécropole mérovingienne.
Alignement de sarcophages avec la côture composée de couvercles fichés en terre.
La nécropole remonte à l'antiquité et est toujours le cimetière du village.
Cette nécropole est remarquable par l'accumulation de très nombreux sarcophages mérovingiens encore visibles et par sa cloture constituée de couvercles de sarcophages mérovingiens
D'après des dessins conservés du XVIIIe siècle, la nécropole était environ quatre fois plus grande (moins d'un hectare aujourd'hui pour 3 à 4 hectares au XVIIIe siècle). Les sarcophages qui se trouvaient sur les parties disparues de la nécropole, ont été utilisé comme matériaux de construction, ou comme abreuvoirs. Les terrains récupérés ont été cultivés.
Le site devait compter entre 7000 et 15 000 tombes. La plus ancienne tombe serait datée des environs de 400 ap. J.C. La majorité des tombes anciennes sont mérovingiennes (du milieu du V° siècle à 750). Les sarcophages sont de forme trapézoïdale, beaucoup de couvercles sont ornés de trois traverses, décor caractéristique du Poitou à l’époque mérovingienne.
Le site est utilisé depuis presque 2000 ans et la population y enterre toujours ses morts. Les sarcophages actuellement en surface ont été déterrés pour faire de la place pour de nouveaux caveaux. Ceux qui sont restés en terre, sont enterrés peu profondément et orientés est/ouest, la tête placée à l'ouest, le défunt regardant vers le levant.
La pierre calcaire des sarcophages provient de carrières situées de l'autre côté de la Vienne, sur la rive droite. Certaines sépultures réutilisent de blocs antiques issus de bâtiments romains ruinés : colonnes, blocs de grand appareil, stèles...
Une telle concentration de sépultures ne correspond vraisemblablement pas à la population de Civaux, quelle que soit l'époque. Cette concentration peut s'expliquer par la notoriété du site et le désir de reposer proche d'un lieu sacré, ce qui élargi le cercle des candidats à une sépulture à Civaux.
Durant le Haut Moyen-Âge, Civaux est un centre religieux, avec une église et un baptistère, qui possède probablement les reliques de saint Gervais et saint Protais, saints très vénérés à l'époque.
In an effort to align with the USAID Digital Strategy and recognize USAID Missions, Bureaus and partners that are empowering countries in a digital age, USAID launched the 2022 Digital Development Awards (the Digis), the fourth round of these awards. The Digis recognize and celebrate USAID-funded projects and activities that use digital technology to sustain open, secure, and inclusive digital ecosystems in order to improve measurable development and humanitarian-assistance outcomes. After receiving nearly 200 applications from USAID Missions around the world, five winners were selected for the 2022 Digital Development Awards, including the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) VectorLink, funded by USAID/Zambia and implemented by Abt Associates.
Certain malaria control interventions are proven to reduce transmission, particularly the distribution of insecticide treated bed nets (ITN) and indoor residual spraying (IRS), where insecticide that is safe for humans is sprayed on the walls and ceilings of homes to kill malaria-carrying mosquitoes. Successful planning of these interventions is tied closely to accurately estimating the population and number of homes in a particular area, which preferably are then used to create a map that helps inform resource allocation and monitor the intervention’s coverage post-intervention.
The U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) VectorLink Project supports national governments in 25 countries to plan and implement proven, life-saving vector control programs with the overall goal of reducing malaria burden. In 2021-2022, PMI VectorLink Zambia worked with subcontractor Akros and the Georeferenced Infrastructure and Demographic Data for Development (GRID3) project to first update maps used by local government officials and then plan IRS and ITN campaigns to the most granular level yet: the health facility catchment level.
To start, the team engaged health facility staff across all 116 districts in Zambia to verify the boundaries of the area they serve. Satellite images of each health facility catchment area (HFCA) were then used to estimate the population. Akros provided both digital and printed maps, and an IRS planning template, to each district and then trained the district teams on how to use them.
Jerry Maambo, a Malaria Elimination Officer, has helped spearhead the Indoor Residual Campaign being enforced by PMI VectorLink Zambia in the Katete District. Using the digitized, detailed maps from Akros, Jerry and his team are better able to plot Malaria outbreaks and plan protective efforts for sprayers to disinfect houses in the district.
Additionally, the sprayers are key partners in responding to community questions and concerns about the spraying campaigns. Jerry shares that, “We engage the local traditional leadership and have community dialogue meetings, and eventually the community was willing to have their houses sprayed.”
The maps updated by VectorLink, coupled with support during the planning processes, strengthened the National Malaria Elimination Program’s (NMEP) capacity to use the latest data to operationalize their strategy and ultimate goal of covering 100 percent of the population with at least one malaria prevention program. The result has led to increased coverage of malaria control campaigns in hard-to-reach areas across Zambia. With the new microplanning maps, the Zambia NMEP now has a deeper level of insight into the geographic distribution of remote communities and better population estimates down to the village level.

The stars aligned for Detroit Speed and Angelo Vespi's Detroit Speed Built 1969 Camaro. The Camaro, which was finished for the 2014 Goodguys Columbus show, (it was named a Street Machine of the Year Finalist) came home with two coveted awards in Las Vegas. First, on Wednesday, Angelo Vespi's Detroit Speed Built 1969 Camaro was chosen as a finalist for SEMA's first ever, "Battle of the Builders." More than 125 vehicles entered the competition that would take place Friday at SEMA Ignited. The list was dwindled down to ten cars by some of the best builders in the country and the 1969 Camaro was one of them. If that was not enough, the following day, Angelo's 1969 claimed the very prestigious GM design award for "Best Chevrolet Sports Car."
Friday finally rolled around and the voting began for the "Battle of the Builders" at SEMA Ignited. SEMA Ignited was held at the LINQ near the strip and had the 10 finalists judging one another to determine who would be named the ultimate winner. The three finalists were chosen and it was us, the Ring Brothers 1966 Chevelle and Jeff Kinsey's 1932 4-door Sedan. To say we were thrilled to be named the winner was an understatement. Angelo Vespi and everyone at Detroit Speed should be very proud to win this award. It came as a result of countless hours of hard work and dedication from everyone involved.
Making your way around SEMA it was an honor to see a plethora of DSE "Equipped" cars scattered around the grounds of the Las Vegas Convention Center. From the ARP Bolts booth, to the Optima booth and the JRi Shocks booth it was a very humbling sight to see. Another highlight from the event came in the form of recognition for one of our very own. Jay Lesar, our Product Foreman, was chosen as a 35 under 35 recipient and was on hand to accept the award. Jay will now travel down to the Baja 1000 to work in a BFGoodrich pit along with DSE Test Car foreman, Matt Butts.
Thanks to everyone who came by the Detroit Speed booth during the show. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and showing them our product. Also, thanks to DSE employees Andy Kralovic and Keith MacDonald. Andy manned the booth all week helping thousands of participants while Keith was the man getting everything setup at the start of the show and broken down and on its way back to Mooresville at the conclusion.
