Sculpt update on "the Beast" - Alien 79 rework of the creatures head sculpt.

Working on some updates to the skull, the maxilla's depth, the teeth and a new lower jaw. The teeth are all being sculpted similar to the fashion of the larger egg layer xenomorph I've posted updates to recently. The size of this piece is considerably smaller than the egg layer so rather than the teeth being sculpted separately, the entire set is a single piece. I have more work to do with the lower jaw, it's teeth along with details to the "lips" if you can call them that . I'm making molds of each of these small pieces as I go along. Very fragile and I don't want to have to sculpt these pieces over again if I can help it. I'm using Aves FIXIT sculpt so it has strength but even at this scale, it can break easily.

More to come - gotta take one project at a time as I slowly get back into a routine that's been off course now for almost a year. It's not been easy to do. Just need to get along with it.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for looking! I appreciate feedback.

For the third time I am reworking the head sculpt to the Alien Warrior - 1:18 scale - ALIENS 86....and I think the third time will be a charm. The first sculpt was too wide, the second too short - This one will be just right as well as a rework on the teeth coming soon! ‪#‎aliens‬ ‪#‎alien‬ ‪#‎alienwarrior‬ ‪#‎queen‬ ‪#‎colonialmarines‬ ‪#‎xenomorph‬ ‪#‎sculpting‬

Actually this is very tiny flower, no more than 5 mm. At this magnification is looks really unusual like something alien. Taken using extension tubes and reversed 35mm lens.
