Sculpt update on "the Beast" - Alien 79 rework of the creatures head sculpt.
Working on some updates to the skull, the maxilla's depth, the teeth and a new lower jaw. The teeth are all being sculpted similar to the fashion of the larger egg layer xenomorph I've posted updates to recently. The size of this piece is considerably smaller than the egg layer so rather than the teeth being sculpted separately, the entire set is a single piece. I have more work to do with the lower jaw, it's teeth along with details to the "lips" if you can call them that . I'm making molds of each of these small pieces as I go along. Very fragile and I don't want to have to sculpt these pieces over again if I can help it. I'm using Aves FIXIT sculpt so it has strength but even at this scale, it can break easily.
More to come - gotta take one project at a time as I slowly get back into a routine that's been off course now for almost a year. It's not been easy to do. Just need to get along with it.

The obligatory Viper shot of my Alien Vic Viper. This ship is a creation of alien refugees from the planet Kreon in the Sigma Draclonus system whose colony ship crashed in the Wastes after it was shot down by the Eurospace anti-orbital defense network. After being rescued by the ADU from an attack by raiders, they used a combination of ADU and salvaged Kreon technology to build their very own Viper variant. They now assist the ADU and Federal Dragoons in patrolling the wastes.
For the third time I am reworking the head sculpt to the Alien Warrior - 1:18 scale - ALIENS 86....and I think the third time will be a charm. Great 8miles or so this time on Edale and the Southern Edges of Kinder Scout via Jacob’s Ladder..
Good weather to start but became rainy towards end.. But that was fine - It's just superb up there on Kinder!!

I hated the movie, but i liked the marines in it. (My only favorite scene is when the alien just took a bite outta' the commander's brain and he says "huh, that tickles")

Yesterday I found a dead alien in the park , kind of by the clock tower downtown. I just happened to have an empty jar in my backpack so I quickly grabbed the small thing before anyone could notice. When I finally got home I put the dead thing on a wooden chopping board to have some fun. After I made the first major incision I noticed that the alien fetus had most of the same major organs that humans have. Now I know I should have been wearing gloves because when I cut out the heart and started to squeeze the fluids out some kind of metallic material was absorbed into my finger tips. I started freaking out and shaking by nothing has happened to me since so I think I am ok for now...

Area 51 is ONLY a top secret military base for research and development. You could take ALL the idiot conspiracy theorists and let them loose in that base, open EVERY door, drawer, filing cabinet, broom closet and computer file, and let them dig through everything to their hearts content for as long as they wanted and when they left, after finding NOTHING alien, they would be saying to each other, "The reason we didn't find anything was because they must have an 'above top secret' part of the base where the alien stuff was that they didn't open."
