This Mech is very flexible. It has powerful kicks and is deadly at either short or long ranges. It has four heavy lasers mounted in its chest and two turbo laser on its shoulders.

Aliens friends were getting ready to blow a hole in the wall to free him. Luckily the lawyer was able to get him released.
Police; Excuse me guys, you've left your things behind. Take them with you or i'll fine you for littering!
Completed castings of the upper torso for the Alien Warrior - ALIEN 86 - 1:18 scale. Molds came out great for each piece, and the castings reflect that. No problems - which surprises me for all the complexity but enough venting in the right places makes for happy resin castings. The "pipes" are casts taken from my 79 Alien, attached temporarily using some wax clay. I will also be using the lower torso sculpt from the 79 beast for the warrior...no need for a do over in the sculpting department.
I see why toy companies like to reuse parts..saves money and time (as long as they are used properly). Want to begin working on the arms soon. Cast using Smooth On Smooth Cast 320. May begin using a different, stronger Smooth-on casting material soon. ‪#‎alien‬ ‪#‎aliens‬ ‪#‎xenomorph‬ ‪#‎casting‬ ‪#‎resin‬ ‪#‎smoothon‬ ‪#‎hive‬ ‪#‎actionfigure‬
This is just as captured. I'm debating a tighter crop to emphasize the alien feel of this weed picked as a flower for her mom.
I really like this one. Reminds me of some alien being.
Taken August 5th, 2011 on Denman Island, BC, Canada.
I am sure this is relatively common, but when I just missed stepping on it, had to take a quick frame.
Part of a hive wall that will be part of a huge Alien diorama I am building for my AVP collection. All those structures were sculpted with Apoxy Sculpt.
A strange, secret alien invader, the Wyaan creature can drain a human's blood, and then turn that person into a replica of itself! So it made a small Wyaan army, only to eventually be forced into growing to giant size and fighting Ultraman. This didn't go well for Wyaan.
A follow-up on the progress to the Warrior Alien head sculpt. ALIENS 86 - 1:18 scale. Some smart phone shots showing the sculpt from several angles - still a work in progress. Should have it complete tonight.
The torso you see here will be a total re-sculpt....presently it's a casting from the Revoltech figure. Helps with scaling/proportion. The lower abdomen piece however is a cast of an original sculpt from my 79 Alien. I can get away with using it for the Warrior but the upper torso will be a complete, original re-sculpt as I hate borrowing parts when I have the ability to create them myself these days....
If you have the ability and time, sculpt it.
I still have to borrow articulated joints and extremities such as hands from time to time...especially with the human figures, but when I can sculpt it myself I will do so...
...and with the Warrior alien finally moving forward, others are sure to follow...Ripley, Marines, Newt, Burke, Bishop.....Queen(cough,cough)....
