Piston action space pistol with electronic sounds. Wind the alien's head to work the pistons. The gun also takes batteries to make the space sounds. Made in Hong Kong
Alien Visitor number two is a more common “gray” type, and I set him down in New Mexico. The figure was sculpted by Mike Cusanelli who sold it as a resin piece under his early Ridwolf label as “Mars Man”. This was a straight painting job stuck to a base along with a big Aurora rock and a piece of lichen.

Sculpt update on the Alien Warrior - ALIENS 86 - 1:18 scale. Alternate head sculpt with mouth open. The final will feature the inner jaw exposed within. This is the same lower jaw sculpt I used with the 79 Alien - works well! Will require some additional sculpting to hold jaw in place - currently held in place with some was clay. #aliens #xenomorph #alienwarrior #warrior
My LEGO version of the iconic 1979 ALIEN Xenomorph.
This has been an exceptionally challenging and and mind-expanding build. Working from references to create these organic shapes was a wholly new type of MOCing for me. I learned soooooo much during the late nights tinkering away at this guy.
Also, sorry for the delay in posting the shots of this bad boy. I had to move right after the convention and hadn't gotten a chance to photograph it. I still want to work on it further and finish up the bust ( if not the whole thing! ) someday. Again, I hope to have a REALLY pro photo setup again soon, fingers crossed for a home-loan and the perfect place to move into.

The Alien was greeted by "The Cacophony Society", a random gathering of individuals united in the pursuit of experiences beyond the pale of mainstream society through subversion, pranks, art, fringe explorations and meaningless madness. The Empress can be relieved. Her telepathic radar found the mark. She hit the nail on the head. After an exhausting; very tiring; arduously severe; grueling adventure, the Alien has finally found rest. The Society has an obscure member who claims that he can lead The Alien home. Can this be true?

Ellen Ripley, Jones and the Power Loader (In fight with some aliens)
You don’t usually associate the gray aliens with big cities, but I had this fire hydrant charm I’d been trying to use for decades and figured it would clearly establish that these guys were on Earth. These are two of six different poses made by Imperial and sold in a set called “Star Patrol”. Imperial also manufactured slightly larger (2.31”) versions of the same six poses in an “Alien Invaders” set.
The figures just got the usual parting line sanding before painting. I especially liked that Imperial made the heads different shapes, so I purposely varied the gray skin tones. The sidewalk is a piece of sheet styrene that was vacuum formed over some fine sandpaper.
Completed in 1999.
Help....our yard is being invaded by these giant and also very ugly mushrooms....LOL.
And, they got in the way of my fence shot....murrrrrrr.

Now this is the machine used by those aliens whom i heard love underpants ( I still have not read the book..ha.ha..yes there is a book somewhere ;-D ) ~
They have a lot of washing to do as they often change their underpants many times daily ~
So they have to have very powerful and very fast washing machines in their launderettes/laundromats ~ whatever they call it ~Anyways , you should feel privileged of being able to watch such a spectacle ~

The Vancouver Sun Run, sponsored by The Vancouver Sun newspaper, is a 10-kilometre road running event held in Vancouver each year on the third (sometimes the fourth) Sunday in April since 1985. It is one of the largest road races in North America.

The second of two semi-static posed figures is complete. This version depicts the creature as it appears in the deleted "crab-walker" scene from the 1979 film as Lambert and Parker make a desperate attempt to escape the Nostromo. This deleted scene however was thought comical by many, not well executed on film and revealed too much of the creature...reducing it to nothing more than a man in a rubber suit...something Ridley Scott was avoiding by using smoke and shadow.
Hand sculpted, hand painted. 1:18 scale. I borrowed resin cast parts from the original Alien figure I created a year earlier, made modifications to the torso, neck, shoulders
and legs.
When crouched or "crab walking", the figure is approx. 3" high from highest point on head to the feet. When standing, the figure is approx. 5.25" high, still not fully erect as the leg and hip joints limit the full motion (again, this was originally meant to be a static posed figure). Fortunately I was able to add several articulation points to the figure: Ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Vacuum formed PETG dome is removable. The tail is static but is attached using a revoltech joint and can be switched out with a longer tail option.
Original was sculpted using Aves FIXIT sculpt, a two part epoxy. Parts were cast in resin and assembled to build this version. Used Model Masters Polly Scale and Tamiya acrylics.

Aliens is the pinnacle of action sci-fi. One of the best sequels to a movie ever made. It boasted some great vehicles for the marines and the Dropship was no exception. Menacing looking and capable it always has your back.
Ichibantoys captures it perfectly i think.
