And a rare scene emerged from the woods. The Alien was greeted by "The Cacophony Society", a random gathering of individuals united in the pursuit of experiences beyond the pale of mainstream society through subversion, pranks, art, fringe explorations and meaningless madness. The Empress can be relieved. Her telepathic radar found the mark. She hit the nail on the head. After an exhausting; very tiring; arduously severe; grueling adventure, the Alien has finally found rest. The Society has an obscure member who claims that he can lead The Alien home. Can this be true?
He came to Earth for our sheep… which didn’t look quite so big from outer space. (He may have to settle for yarn scraps instead.)
Help....our yard is being invaded by these giant and also very ugly mushrooms....LOL.

Now this is the machine used by those aliens whom i heard love underpants ( I still have not read the book..ha.ha..yes there is a book somewhere ;-D ) ~
They have a lot of washing to do as they often change their underpants many times daily ~
So they have to have very powerful and very fast washing machines in their launderettes/laundromats ~ whatever they call it ~Anyways , you should feel privileged of being able to watch such a spectacle ~

Painted with acryl metallic which gives it a nice effect upon different angles!!

The Xenomorph's look certainly changed between films, though that may simply be due to the age of an individual drone.

A first for my photostream, so I was pleased to get this shot earlier today.
I got a tip off from someone locally that a pair had been seen in the neighbourhood, but his understanding was that they are likely to be gone by midday.
I think I'm correct in saying that this is the female.

The second of two semi-static posed figures is complete. This version depicts the creature as it appears in the deleted "crab-walker" scene from the 1979 film as Lambert and Parker make a desperate attempt to escape the Nostromo. This deleted scene however was thought comical by many, not well executed on film and revealed too much of the creature...reducing it to nothing more than a man in a rubber suit...something Ridley Scott was avoiding by using smoke and shadow.
Hand sculpted, hand painted. 1:18 scale. I borrowed resin cast parts from the original Alien figure I created a year earlier, made modifications to the torso, neck, shoulders
and legs.
When crouched or "crab walking", the figure is approx. 3" high from highest point on head to the feet. When standing, the figure is approx. 5.25" high, still not fully erect as the leg and hip joints limit the full motion (again, this was originally meant to be a static posed figure). Fortunately I was able to add several articulation points to the figure: Ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Vacuum formed PETG dome is removable. The tail is static but is attached using a revoltech joint and can be switched out with a longer tail option.
Original was sculpted using Aves FIXIT sculpt, a two part epoxy. Parts were cast in resin and assembled to build this version. Used Model Masters Polly Scale and Tamiya acrylics.

This is the second spider I've seen with this cartoonish shape and each time I come across one it makes me curious to know what they are exactly.

A strange and unusual light fitting at the outdoor menu table at the Mesa Lunga tapas restaurant on Gouger Street. There are 2 of these greeny lights, attached to each other and the wall by what looks like metal pipe fittings, like strange alien roses.

Mind-boggling alien costume photographed at Polaris 21 (Toronto, July 2007). Part of a group of costumers that included a marine and a predator. I played with the light, contrast, and saturation, added a little diffuse glow and cropped the image (in Photoshop). I'm not sure I like this version better than the clean image. I may post the original with the hope of receiving constructive comments.
Aliens is the pinnacle of action sci-fi. One of the best sequels to a movie ever made. It boasted some great vehicles for the marines and the Dropship was no exception. Menacing looking and capable it always has your back.

All the shadows were made by me, bottom with a lens hood and top with a leaf. I find it a little more interesting like this.
